When hubby and I first got married we rented a house literally a half a block from a train track, at first it drove me crazy hearing the train run through all of the time, eventually I didn’t even hear it anymore. I think you get use to hearing certain sounds and eventually don’t even notice them anymore. 💐💚🙃

I also garden in flip flops. My family just shake their head at me how I get such flip flop 🩴 tan lines on the tops of my feet 🤣 which hardly fades away all winter long.

I really admire people who can garden in shorts and short sleeves. In my area, we have trouble with mosquitoes, so we have to really cover up with long pants and long sleeves or we’d be eaten alive. Plus, we use plenty of mosquito spray. Thanks for sharing Jes. Everything’s looking beautiful.

I have a barrel just like that. 👍 you've got things blooming that I have but mine aren't blooming yet. Can't wait to see them bloom. I do have cone flowers starting to bloom. I love those. ❤️ So much I want to go buy and fill in my gardens it just seems I can't seem to make it into the garden center. Everything is looking beautiful! Your climate is so much better for the plants than our Zone 8A! We finally are getting rain but the heat and humidity have been tough on Snaps,Pansy’s and Violas! They are out of here!!!

Love the lightened up barrels and gray pots together..dislike Terra cotta colored pots in my garden the color just doesn't look natural to me. Only use Terra cotta in my small indoor area. Happy gardening 🙌🌿
