Just keep them watered well, the hosta. I heard from a hosta grow what he does to his hosta, every two weeks he gives them tomato fertilizer, if your up to doing that every two weeks that may help them grow faster/ better for you. I’m going start trying to do that to my hosta and see how that works. I’m a little behind because I’m trying to get plants that I ordered in the ground and out of their cans. I’m almost done so I’m going to try and concentrate on fertilizing the hosta. It’s still early in the season so I figure I have nothing to loose. Good luck ! He also recommended putting milogranite when they first start emerging from the ground but that may not be something most people would want to do. I did though. Again good luck and happy growing ! 💐💚🙃

Jes!!!! THANK YOU so much for the wonderful tour!! Your gardens are sooo beautiful. My neighbors came over to my back yard day before yesterday I wanted them to take a look at a barely-hanging-on branch of theirs that is hanging over my side of the fence and in an area I’m trying to develop as a nice quiet seating area. I snagged 2 Adirondack chairs on Fb market place for $100.. I thought it was a good deal, they are well made from wood and sturdy- but anyway, the wife was like “oh can I go over there and look” pointing to my shade garden that YOU inspired me to develop, & I said “heck yes! Come on!!” And we walked over there and I immediately started talking about you and your gully garden and your YT channel and I got super excited! You got allllll the credit! So, hopefully you’ll have a new subscriber! 😁 Everything looks so good Jes. So good! Have you tried spraying your impatiens with Liquid Fence? It seemed to help a bit for me last year. Also, you could put a cheap cloche (dollar tree has little black wire garbage cans I use by turning them upside down) on your impatiens in your pot? That might help also.. 🤷🏼♀️ worth a try maybe. Tell Nate that his grass is 🤌🏼🤌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼👍🏼👍🏼 looking real good this year! I saw those stripes! It’s time to limb up the river burches again a little bit, huh? I want to plant one and the dappled willow, need that for sure, and a aralia sun king, & some lambs ear, & all the things! lol.. I picked up a glow blue juniper to put in the spot where I planted a Colorado blue spruce because I need to move it. Right plant, wrong spot. Thank you again for the tour, headed into work and you brought a sense of peace and happiness to my heart before work so that is very beneficial! lol, thank you! 😊♥️

Your garden is gorgeous. The good about bunnies is their droppings make great fertilizer!! Try this spray for plants rabbits & deer eat. 5 cups water 2 tablespoons cayenne pepper 2 tablespoons garlic powder 1 teaspoon of dish soap Supposedly they hate the taste & smell. Save the impatiens & zinnias. I put dry cayenne on bird seed & squirrels quit raiding my feeder. Birds can't taste the pepper. Win..win. PS-pizza delivery gives free pepper & garlic powder away.

I have quite the hosta collection too…quite addictive 😊 you added a few more ‘must haves’ I keep trying with the hucheras but have trouble with moles and voles eating the root balls. 2 beautiful plants to consider for your collection is a Sting Hosta and a Cutie Pie Huechera. They pair nicely together. The Cutie Pie is lime green foilage that get a pretty berry color plumes. Your Hostas look so much better than mine. I have 3 golden doodles and almost all my Hostas in the centers are flat because my doodles love to lay in them. They come back every year and I just keep dividing them just in case. The area you said you wanted to add purple, I could picture Spilled Wine Wigelia by PW where your Flag is(28:10) It’s been fun watching your garden develop and just listen to you chat😊

Because of your videos, I planted 4 hydrangeas in my zone 8. I planted in brand new garden soil that smelled heavily composted. I watered it heavy and then left town for 3 weeks. It rained almost daily & a friend came & still watered more. Upon my return the blooms had gone from pink to a weird greenish blue and were laying down. Some stems were black like root rot & I got sad. But...now they have suddenly added dozens of new leaf growth and signs of taking root & going to survive. Plants can amaze us. Keep filming. Tell Jocelyn we miss her seedling update videos.

Hey Sweet Jes...thank you for the beautiful garden tour. I have an idea...you could place some pretty wire cloches in your pots where the bunnies keep feasting on your inpatients. I think at some point the bunnies will hop along to different spots as the season moves on and then you could potentially remove the cloches. I like the look of them in pots. You have some beautiful plants that are new to me...the yellow ones that close at night are neat...are they called evening primrose by any chance?...Thanks so much for sharing...I look so forward to your videos/ movies!!!💗💗💗

Your garden is beautiful! Very peaceful. The birds singing happy tunes! I know there are lots of different ideas about diverting animals from the garden, but I was told along time ago about using a fertilizer called dried blood to help keep rabbits and other vegetarian type critters from eating my plants!😊. Just sprinkle it around the plants you want them to stay away from. You have to replace it once it rains. Good for the plant too!

I've always had a issue with ferns... 5 years ago I planted 4 ostrich ferns. They came as bare root, and never came up. A couple of years later, I tried them again and again, I got nothing! A month ago, I went to a local nursery and bought 4 Japanese Painted Ferns, they don't look that promising either. I have them in a mostly shaded area of the yard.

Absolutely beautiful garden. I was hoping to see how the 3 Annabelle's that you divided into 8 a year ago in your video (Splitting and Dividing Annabelle Hydrangeas for a Hydrangea hedge!) were doing. Bunnies are so adorable but sometimes you want to take them over your knee and spank their little fluffy tails for being naughty.. I had ordered Tree Lily Bulbs and planted them this past spring..Last week they started to emerge and I was so excited. But in one night they ate 90% of the leaves off both plants. Mind you they are planted around 10 to 12 feet away from each other. One on each side of my deck.. But somehow they found them both. I now have them caged but it feels a day late and a dollar short.

I was able to identify some of my hostas thanks for your help.
Thank you P. Jes as always beautiful garden ! And dang those bunnies ! 💐💚🙃
Love your garden!!
I just bought Twilight hosta, in honour of my kitty named Twilight! So nice to see them in good size as mine are still small. Thank you for the tour Jes! Amazing garden 🪴
I think you have the most Hostas of any one I’ve ever seen
Love long videos! Don't worry about that. So fun to watch. So beautiful!

I agree. I get excited when I see a longer one so I can plan when I’ll relax and enjoy it! 😊
Thanks for the tour! Your garden is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! 🌸 I’m a huge hosta fan too, so i planted five Big Daddy hostas this spring. Anxious to see how huge they’ll be by fall.
Lovely garden tour. 😊
Beautiful garden
Holy moly it’s windy today Jes ! I think if the wind were blowing in the right direction I could send you a note in the wind ! 😂💐💚🙃
Jes, such an awesome tour of some of your gardens. Everything is just so beautiful. As I’ve said before you are so knowledgeable and always so willing to share your information with us. Your plants are just thriving with your excellent care. I know the bunnies and chipmunks are just living their best life in your gardens. You and Nate are very responsible and proud homeowners. Hope y’all have a great weekend. God bless and take care. Cookie in Mandeville Louisiana
You should be proud kid, absolutely beautiful !!!
Jes, once again thank you for sharing your beautiful plants and flowers with us. One of my favorite things to do is tour your gorgeous gardens. You have laid out your flowers and plants 🪴 so pretty and so colorful. Love how you do that. 😊❤ and the birds always sound so pretty. You are a beautiful soul. Love you 😍 ❤ and until next time God's blessings Oh yes Nates grass is absolutely beautiful 😍 you both have a really great day 😊
I have quite the hosta collection too…quite addictive 😊 you added a few more ‘must haves’ I keep trying with the hucheras but have trouble with moles and voles eating the root balls.
I love ur garden❤❤❤❤makes me feel calm🦷
I love the long video tours❤
You should have a garden tour for the public… such a beautiful garden 🙌🥰

Great idea! I would be first in line!
!! Myers should do a commercial in your yard!!❤
❤
ОЧЕНЬ КРАСИВО! ЗАМЕЧАТЕЛЬНЫЕ ХОСТЫ! ХОЗЯЙКА- МОЛОДЕЦ !❤❤❤
Repels All, and Rabbit/Deer sprays work. I’ve also used an Orbit motion activated sprinkler (Yard Enforcer). Great especially for nighttime animal browsing, but can be set for daytime, too
Love my Meijer clearance plants. 😭🫶🏻
So gorgeous! Google how to keep bunnies from eating plants. There are so things you can try.
Simply awesome garden so beautiful.😊
Jess you have every single hosta except White FEATHER. 2 weeks ago I bot 2 and they are doing so well in the garden.
Hi Jes I planted a quince last fall and the bunnies munched on it too. Try sprinkling cayemne pepper around their favorite plants. It helped me
You made my day!!!
Beautiful hostas😊
Your hostas are simply magnificent. Sadly, I could never have them myself due to the intense daily deer pressure my yard sees.
You should pant your white shed door in an American flag!❤😊🎉
Your garden is beautiful! Very peaceful. The birds singing happy tunes! I know there are lots of different ideas about diverting animals from the garden, but I was told along time ago about using a fertilizer called dried blood to help keep rabbits and other vegetarian type critters from eating my plants!😊. Just sprinkle it around the plants you want them to stay away from. You have to replace it once it rains. Good for the plant too!
Dear Princess Jes, I think you may have to dig those flash cards out and start studying them ? 🤣💐💚🙃
Your hair looks the best it's ever looked.what have you done to it?don't change it.
Jes, your garden is just beautifully done. Your creativity knows no bounds. The fact that i could watch in it's entirety speaks volumes.❤

Your gardens are beautiful. Like to know secret of your big hostas !!
Love the garden tour! Can’t get enough of your amazing hostas. I am having major bunny problems this year also. By the way you look so beautiful, your hair💕
❤❤❤❤
I've always had a issue with ferns... 5 years ago I planted 4 ostrich ferns. They came as bare root, and never came up. A couple of years later, I tried them again and again, I got nothing! A month ago, I went to a local nursery and bought 4 Japanese Painted Ferns, they don't look that promising either. I have them in a mostly shaded area of the yard.
Lavender is tough to grow... I keep it potted. They really don't mind being root bound!
Your garden is looking beautiful Jes. Could you put your impatients in pots or baskets in your garden so the bunnies can't reach them. I have the same problem.
Jes you are such a great gardener. Btw have you thought about making a small garden for bunnies so maybe they will leave your plants alone. I love the candy corn spirea. I have one and want to get more. I loved the tour. Thank you for sharing with us. Have a great weekend!
Absolutely beautiful garden. I was hoping to see how the 3 Annabelle's that you divided into 8 a year ago in your video (Splitting and Dividing Annabelle Hydrangeas for a Hydrangea hedge!) were doing. I didn't see them during this garden tour. I was so curious in finding out how they were doing and filled out in your garden back there. Did you take them out, and moved them else where since then?
I feel your pain with the Zinnias , the slugs and snails keep eating mine
You need just one more hostas
Bunnies are so adorable but sometimes you want to take them over your knee and spank their little fluffy tails for being naughty.. I had ordered Tree Lily Bulbs and planted them this past spring..Last week they started to emerge and I was so excited. But in one night they ate 90% of the leaves off both plants. Mind you they are planted around 10 to 12 feet away from each other. One on each side of my deck.. But somehow they found them both. I now have them caged but it feels a day late and a dollar short.
This is the first year that I’ve had issues with rabbits eating my garden this bad. I’ve been here years they would munch here and there but this year they are eating everything. Very weird. I love your garden beds. 😊 🌱
Spray paint them! Do it!
Your garden is stunning, so orderly with beautiful, healthy plants. Maybe you tou should have a national collection of hostas.😊
I love autumn frost hosta. When I saw yours I had to get some. They are such a nice bright pop in the garden❣️
Outstanding hosta display. Wish mine looked as healthy between deer and slugs it’s a battle here in Missouri. New sub here👍🏻

Bird song all over garden tour awesome sauce! Huggicates super Jess. Huggicates to all!😊
Thanks Jes for another beautiful garden tour. So sorry about the bunny problem. They’re cute but not when they eat all your plants. The lawn looks gorgeous Nate does an awesome job
It's all just gorgeous. I wonder how many plants you have in your yard. I started just counting my shrubs and I was shocked at how high I was getting in numbers and had to stop. The $$$ with some quick math was rather alarming.
Hi Jess🤗I’m so in love with your yard beautiful! You and your husband do a wonderful job I would like to know if you cut your Hosta back in the fall or you just let them be? God Bless you and your family
KZread has been a beautiful platform to connect with like-minded souls, and I'm so thankful for the sense of belonging it brings. 🌷🌷🌷Thank you for being a part of my journey! Thanks to slow living, 🌱🕯we’ve learned to be more mindful and intentional in our daily activities, savoring each moment rather than rushing through life.Thank you for inspiring me.❤ Fateme Life 🌱🕯 (´。• ᵕ •。`)
If you love 💕 the Candy Corn Spirea then you will love 💕 the Dopple Play Doozie, the most beautiful pink blooms
You need to get another pig planter and put it with your piglet grass!

So I just got home from Lowe's and it is all your fault cause I want a hostas bed at my island in my backyard thanks so much oh it was clearance to
Thank You for the tour and giving the names. It helps when I'm shopping for Hostas. Love your beautiful garden.I can't imagine how beautiful it must be in person. Jess I use milogranite around my plants to keep the bunnies from eating them, it stinks, so far working for me.

Wow, I have some for my lawn. Will it hurt my plants tho?
Holy Grail Hibiscus
Nice
Stunning!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽❤️ Do you use any kind of repellent to keep critter out?……🤣😂😆 I was wondering how you remember all those names of plants!😆🤣😂
Can’t your hostas are blooming already June 7 👍
Loving ur inspiration as always, I’ve got me busy in my garden but it’s coming along. Quick question does the mulch serve to create the barrier from the woods intruding into ur garden. And also how did u get rid of ur poison ivy initially. Last one, will u be doing a Q&A soon? Or rather answering comments?
❤🎉
Maybe if you raised the terra-cotta pots up off the ground (little plant stands for example), the bunnies wouldn’t be able to reach them and your impatients will have a chance to grow. Just a suggestion. Loved the garden tour.

I tried that and raised them to 25".... you'd be surprised how high bunnies can jump! They even jump into my raised beds that are 30 inches tall.
Hibiscus Spinderella? Something like that.
I see upper deck Impatient planters coming soon ? 💐💚🙃
Are all of those backup songs to your videos, is that you singing? If so, you have an incredible voice and I just love listening to you sing!
Jes, your hair looked so good on this video 👍🏻. How about a weeping blue spruce in your front gully ?
I am having lots of trouble with my hydrangeas this year.
