I'm sorry to hear that. I don't plant them in the ground. I always plant root stocks in pots until they are well established. You should take a picture and contact them.

Hi, are all your fruit trees planted in containers?

Hi, no not all of them. Only the established ones are in the ground. The weather is changing and can be very unpredictable. With this past winter and temperatures dipping to 20 degrees plus a wind chill. Alot of the fruit trees wouldn't have made it. So I keep some of them in pots until I feel they are strong enough. Pear and apples will eventually go in the ground, but guava, certain citrus mango will stay in larger pots. Then I bring them into the greenhouse when the weather will get below certain temperatures.

Cow manure is ok to use?

Yes it is, but the manure does need to age. So I wouldn't use it unless it has been sitting for a year.
