Loved the video and the information. I have two questions. Where did you purchase your plugs from? Secondly, what is your soil mixture that you used when mixing in the bucket loader?

Thank you! We used straight promix but mixed in bucket to hydrate it well first. We got the plugs from Raker Roberta's through ballseed with our wholesale account. We also did a fertilizer mix with watering, they are very heavy feeders.

So do you guys mix any slow release fertilizer in with your potting mix?

Really well for the first year, we have some later videos that show updates in the garden tours. The ones Closes to the edge of the space bloomed a bit early dur to the trees shading but the rest were nice and full!

What's the profit after buying plugs, pots, tags, soil, fertilizer and watering?

That's the big question, will really depend on if we can find the right market for selling them. People we know that have grown them have done really well and once you have all the irrigation the next years profits can really start going. Since this is a test year, and we were still learning where to get everything and get wholesale accounts set up, and we needed to purchase irrigation materials, so our costs are much higher than they would normally be and our goal is to break even which would be to sell about a third of what we are growing this year so really seems like we should be able to make some profit. Time is the biggest unknown so we used a guesstimate but if it takes a bunch of effort to sell profits go down...and sale goal goes up.

How did it go? I was thinking of doing this. What was the cost of each component? The Pot, the Plug, the Soil. Let me know please!!@@FlickerHill
