    That root ball did look root bound. Pulling the roots out a little will help the tree get established in the ground.

    Hi Todd thx fir stopping by. I don't think my abutilon made it through the winter this year. 🥶it was a rough cold winter and I didn't have ti e to baby them like I usually do. But that being said. It may push new growth if the roots didn't completely died off. I will keep you update if new growth emerge. Generally they like zone 9 and above or need to be taken inside during the freezing Temps. I was trying to experiment and see if it can survive outside in my zone. I most likely may have regret my decision. I wish I can see which ones you purchase.
