Fabulous first video! I love it … your collection and your ways. Looking forward to many many more! I love all your plant non plant supplies. The clear moss poles. Circular trellis. I especially love that all your plants are part of the home. & thriving. Outside green house cabinets. I also am holding steady. While I have created individual climate vessels when needed. I’ve held steady in not employing cabinets tents or terrariums! So… this video is extra inspiring!

Thanks so much! Yes! I love being able to enjoy my plants out in the open without having them enclosed in a cabinet or greenhouse - they outgrow those very quickly anyway! Growing in room humidity is certainly doable, but it's definitely a little bit more challenging compared to growing inside a temperature and humidity controlled greenhouse. And the plants don't really grow as quickly, either, but I'm all right with that 😊 I wish you the best of luck in your plant journey!

ohhhhh welcome to the club!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! I've been using the Grow Thiccly poles for almost a year now and I can never go back to normal poles anymore! They are my absolutely fave poles. They just make the job so easy! And I don't have to mist them constantly which is such a WIN!

Bigger leaves in lower light makes perfect sense - the plant needs more surface area to catch more light for photosynthesis.

And sometimes that can change as plants grow, too. It's another part of the hobby that I really find enjoyable 😁

Of course! Do you mean the saran wrap around the moss poles? I use the saran wrap around the nodes while the nodes are still fresh (before roots have emerged). Doing so increases the humidity around the nodes and keeps that section of the moss pole moist for longer, which encourages the roots to come out and root into the pole without the risk of drying out! If I was growing my plants in a greenhouse, the environment would be humid enough that I would not have to wrap saran wrap around the nodes.

Ok…the plant pot your pallidiflorum is in is too cute. Can I ask where you got it from? Just came across your channel randomly and love the calming energy so I’ve been watching a lot of your content back-to-back, but I see that you haven’t uploaded new videos in awhile. Hope you end up making more videos soon~ ❤

Air circulation is crucial in the rudsta!! I think that may be a big factor, you have such a stunning collection ❤

I agree, air circulation is even more important for the anthuriums. Although I really am terrible for letting the plants in the Rudsta dry out completely 😅 Typing this as I water them right now lol!

You must live in the lower mainland in BC. I love Vandula farms! I was just there yesterday for their 25% off anniversary sale this weekend!

I used to live in BC on the island! Then in June I did a big move across to country and now I'm based in Winnipeg. Managed to take all my plants with me though! hehe I'm so sad I missed the anniversary sale, they looked like they had a ton of great deals!

Thank you! If you mean the brown shelves, they were actually just from Costco a couple years ago. We used them as regular bookshelves for a while until we moved and then I repurposed them for my plants instead!

when you were talking about the amount of sunlight hoyas get versus the leaves it produce…I think high light gives smaller, thicker leaves because it has less surface area to lose water and it’s fatter/thicker because it’s keep more water in its leaves versus lower light which loses less water so it’s leaves can have more surface area and it doesn’t have to keep as much water because it’s not getting enough light. Just my thought
