I am going to offer you some(unsolicited) wisdom I leaned in my 5th year in the classroom. “No is a necessary magic. No draws a circle around you and says I have given enough”. If you are asked to manage your school’s social media and shoot videos when you already overwhelmed, protect your energy and say no. It feels impossible but if it’s that vital, someone else can step up once in a while. I often felt taken advantage of because I couldn’t say no. I ran family nights and other school events when I was drowning in my own work. No can be really wonderful.

As a child the overly bright classrooms gave me headaches. I absolutely love your classroom. It’s pleasing to look at, and I could imagine getting a lot of quality work in! Great job

Her aesthetic is #classroomGoals. Thats what I am trying to go for with my classroom set up videos. I also can not keep plants alive, but I am trying to this year.. not the year with covid. I am never in the classroom. Poor plants!

No one will blame you for having low energy. We are all just doing the best we can. I love your focal point wall, the greenery looks great and I'm obsessed with the different size frames. I agree about the computer placement, I like looking up and being able to see the class. Your classroom looks great! All the best this school year, I'm looking forward to more vlogs.

I understand being a teacher can be stressful and challenging especially during this hard time. A lot of teachers are underpaid, you might be one of them, having to find ways to make more money, that can be really stressful with all the work in your back. I listened to a podcast a while back and they talked about how having greenery in the classroom reduced stress and that students from classrooms with plants even had less sick days than students from classrooms that didn't have plants. So cool!! Glad to help :)

You remind me so much of my old 9th grade Medical Science Teacher, it’s not even funny. You look and act very similar to her lol. Your personality is so great and you seem so fun. I loved when I had great math teachers because it made it so much more fun and easier. I love your content and you’re doing a great job! And for a quote idea maybe “Theres a lot of change, but us being here for each other will never” or “It’s going to be okay, we are in this together” or one of my favorite quotes “difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations”.

I'm taking notes from your setup vids lol, I like the subtle incorporation of plants. I will have to get some for my room and post an updated room tour! You can see from my current room tour I am attempting the plant theme with plant wall decals and fake vines, but noting beats the real thing! Does anyone have advice on how to keep plants alive at school?

I love how you go by Mrs. P.S. I also hyphenated my name too, but my students call me by my first name because I work with K-6. I would eventually like to teach older students, and I love this concept! I love your room, and good luck this year!

Hi! So I’ve been on classroom set up side of KZread and I’m going into 8th grade. I think a good quote could be something inspirational to them. I know a lot of my friends are scared to go back and some of them are going back because online school wasn’t the best thing. You could look on Pinterest and look for quotes there! The only quote I can think about is super basic that all teachers use. Anyways, good luck!

Where do you get your greenery? Since my freshman year of college I’ve purchased real plants and I have some that I will be using in my classroom (with student roles including watering the plants themselves). I would love to include some cute faux plants as well!🌱❤️

One day I pulled up a math video on KZread and one of my videos was by the recommended and a student saw it, even though I hoped they wouldn't notice. They did 🤦‍♀️ They think I'm too old to be a KZreadr lol
