Chelle Miller thank you! I still remember the really nicely decorated classroom from my middle school and high school years.

I teach 7th grade and get special notes/pictures every once in a while. I’ve actually created a “memory binder”. It’s just a simple binder with sheet protectors. Any notes, picture, or special thing that a student gives me - I put it in this binder. So every so often I will go through it and see the collection of things over my years of teaching.

Lol in my day it is really sunday

Man 2019 was the last year of our old lives! So much has changed since then!

Give thanks for family and friends who are willing to help us when we need them. I watched all of the Finland vlogs and the classroom set up vids. Thoroughly enjoyed them, but did not get a chance to comment at the time. Loving your new classroom, especially your teacher's corner and the marble countertop. Also loving the new intro, as well, La Tawnya!

I love how you still use the kidney table in middle school! I wish my district would supply my middle school with one. Great for small groups and reteaching. They just don’t seem to understand the use for it in middle level. Thanks for sharing!

SmartieStyle you’re very welcome!! I survived teacher work week, and Meet the Teacher on Thursday was GREAT! We have a work day on Monday and then school begins on Tuesday! This weekend is all about getting Caitlyn ready to move into her Kansas apartment. 😱 We spent the day yesterday traveling from Missouri to Kansas and back to finalize the apartment details and shop at IKEA. Today was all about getting a bed and bedding. Missions are accomplished and now I intend on doing my best impersonation of a potato for the majority of the remainder of this weekend so I am physically and mentally ready for next week! 😂😍

OMG! I absolutely love how your classroom turned out. I started watching teaching blogs last summer and I've absolutely fallen in love with them. Whenever I watch setup videos I develop anxiety as well because I'm anxious to see how the final product will turn out. In the end it turns out amazing. You have invested in great items for your classroom. I love what you have done to stay organized and keep your Homeroom and Switch classed separated. I have one year left of school before I become an elementary teacher and I'm thinking about documenting my journey before I graduate. Right now it's just a thought.
