Plant Cells and Tissues Part 1

BIO203: Plant Cells and Tissues Part 1
Plants are composed of three main organ groups: stems, roots and leaves. These organs are made up of tissues working to accomplish a goal, or function, e.g. photosynthesis, transport, or storage. This lab examines the different cell types that make up these tissues and how to identify them based on their structural characteristics. Part 1 demonstrates how to section and stain the plant specimens.
