My husband had stage 3 kidney disease 4 years ago. We went plant based, and his kidney disease was gone in 6 months! 4 years later his kidneys are functioning perfectly.

I have been a vegan for last six months, I ate large quantities of raw crecifeoie vegs and my eGFR decreased. I am so scared.
I learned about plant base diet thru my church as a Seventh Day Adventist who were plant base for years. I used to be 260 lbs and unhealthy. But on a PBD I enjoyed losing weight and looking younger and it was in the Bible Genesis 1:29, Daniel 1:12-17, It’s awesome 👏
I love this doctor, so humble. He explains it so crystal clear. I heard his presentation before in another KZread channel when he was in New York.
Thank you Dr Joshi! Thank you Chef AJ! Please bring more people from the renal world to your podcast, this is so helpful !🙏🏻
Excellent interview! Thank you for this!
“Return to Me” is a great movie about a woman who receives a heart transplant (Minnie Driver stars in it), and she receives some personality traits from the doner. It always seemed like a real possibility.

Thank you Chef AJ and Dr. Joshi. I have hyperparathyroid disease which has caused CKD 3A- have had 2 adenomas removed and at least one more is an adenoma but can’t be found. Under great care and continuing the plant based diet I’ve been on for over 10 years.
Isnt some vegetables are high in potassium and phosphorus?????? Or its not count when we eat plants. Like in legumes protein is high so what to eat
I was plant based 15 yrs and was doing fine. But a dr wanted me to go carnivore. Only 6 months I’ve developed kidney disease, hyperthyroidism and pre diabetes. I’m back plant based a few weeks but I’m concerned I’ve really destroyed my body😢

To be honest here... Sounds like you developed these devastating health conditions prior to your carnivore experiment of which lasted only a few months .

The smell of Fritos on yourself or your pet is likely a yeast infection. Could also be bacterial but usually yeast.
