Planet Coaster - Aerobats of Arabia (Part 3) - Station Building
Ойындар
Inspired by Persian architecture of the 15th through 17th century, the station building of Aerobats of Arabia is an imposing structure by necessity, hiding two large station halls for both coasters behind a mosque-like facade. Join me as I try to fit this big box into the layout of the park with many a Thememaker's Toolkit item along the way.

It's always pure pleasure to watch your videos, Silvarret. I appreciate how much this channel resembles the essence of what KZread used to be - A person and their video-taped interests. No adds, no money-begging, no sponsors. Just a guy with a hobby and his viewers, with similar interests. Thank you for many years with a lot of good content.
I was really looking forward to the next episode of Aerobats of Arabia! Actually this series got me excited for playing planet coaster again. It has been sitting in my Steam lib nearly unused for 5 years and I have great fun with it right now!

That's the greatest compliment you could give me in this game, hope you enjoy!
I really appreciate the little detail of all the flat roofs being just plain concrete since guests won't ever see them anyway.
Mooi om te zien hoe je werk niet over-gedetailleerd is. De balans tussen detail en realisme is in alles wat je maakt perfect.
In the front, the two ques could be the standard entrance and the other one could be single rider line or like the express line that you pay extra for a pass. It would be hard to do along the line but in front you could make it work

That's a really good idea! I have no idea how a single rider queue would work with a ride with 4 separate queues already, but I'll give it some thought.

@@Silvarret A few parks I have been in have the single-rider queue split off from the main one just before the actual station, usually saving around 10 to 15 minutes if you're lucky.
This series is probably the best planet coaster park/coaster building series so far. Before it was little rock ridge for me but this is just so good and the quality is just👌👌👌keep up the work
The interieur and exterieur of the mosque look stunning as always. Keep up the great work Silv! I'm a bit on the fence about the huge rock in front of what is argueably the most important building in the city. I just can't see how that could happen from an urban planning perspective. I'm always excited to get back to planet coaster or planet zoo after watching your vids, to quickly realize that my skills and patience are simply not enough.
Had the chance to head to Efteling a few weeks ago. I now understand your references. Really enjoyed it as an American. The theming is absolutely next level. Can’t wait to go back! Loving the build. Keep it up!
It really is weird Frontier didn’t add splitable queus, especially since something like that doesn’t seem like it would be too complicated to code. Anyway, you still made that entrance work like a dream! That mosque has got to be one of the most beautiful facades built in this game thus far :)
Needed something to watch before bed that was comforting and this the bill. Looking forward to the next
Wow, that is building on a whole other level.
I just love the building. I miss your Planet zoo creations!
Awesome as always, glad you are back! It’s funny to watch this video’s after meeting you in person last week and becoming friends :D
again you treat us with your Art. This is so incredibly well build. I enjoy watching every video!
Great to see you building again. Goota say I took alot of inspiration from your videos when I made my Vermonster mine train coaster. A mine train themed more around a rusty and beat down mountain in Vermont with a lumber camp and mine.
"I did things harder than I should have" Feels like a typical Silvarett moment to me
I can really see the on-ride photo happen under the bridge, with the camera hidden from view. Also I can imagine the not-coaster fans waiting on that bridge trying to make a photo from their group-mates when they come downwards towards the bridge. Can't wait to see the dark-ride stuff of the coaster, but everything I see till now looks amazing!
We’re only 3 episodes in and i can already tell this is going to be one of your best creations dude :D
I know you don’t want to do commentary through out your entire video but planco time lapses are MUCH better with commentary in my personal opinion. Please keep it up 👍🏼
Loving this build man! You always manage to knock it out of the park your projects 🙌🙌
i just genuinely love this project!
I was watching you build this while I was building a generic Arrow Hyper. Boy does that make it feel inadequately decorated 😂
This series is amazing as always. I am so happy you get at planet coaster again.

Its good to feel genuinely excited about a KZread series again.
Wow I am absolutely blown away!! This is absolutely beautiful!!
I keep thinking about how great it would be if modding was more supported in Planet Coaster, kind of like Cities Skylines. Love the videos as always
awesome series! minor correction minerets were traditionally used by a muazin who give the call to prayer, akin to a bell tower in a church. so the call could be heard by everyone the mineret was constructed. obviously with speakers, muazin no longer needed to climb all the way up so minerets stayed as decorative pieces even though their original purpose was redubdant.

That's a cool detail, thanks for correcting me! Makes sense.
definitely a series i love and look forward to
Absolutely amazing series! Cannot wait to see more of this, it's so incredibly inspiring. 😍
Once again a beautiful build. This kind of chic Arabian architectures (like mosques) is actually one of my favorite (and I've always found it very fun to work on with my FataMorgana related 3d models in Sketchup). The way arch-shapes and ornaments are blend into a structure/building is quite magnifecent and you really hit that spot perfectly here. Especially with the facade at the entrance which looks gorgeous with all the detailing and ornaments. It's also quite facinating to see how it looks so detailed, but when you watch it be build it comes of so easy (of course ignoring all the trial and error you probably did before recording this video). Nevertheless, there are 2 points I think might need improvement or could be fixed. First thing you might already know, but my OCD cant ignore how the big arches in the stations are not in the middle of the track. I don't know how easy it would be to fix this, but I would really consider to do so because to me it's quite annoying. Furthermore, I don't like how you did the rockwork under the drop after the MCBR. It feels very unnatural because of various reasons. It's quite steep (which you didnt make yourself easy with the steep drop on the coaster there, I think a less steep drop on the coaster there would have been nicer both for the flow on the ride, as well as for the landscaping/area design). And also you only cover the areas directly under the drop with rocks. If this rockhill was extended on both sides, especially on the non-station side with additional landscaping, it could come of much better. Because know it's quite a steep cliff out of nowhere. But besides that, it looks absolute incredible. Keep it this amazing work!
You are so cracked. 😂 I love this series bro, makes me want to get back into Galatea again 🥳
Aerobats of Arabia is one of your best work, you are great at this theme and it's incredible how it's coming out, absolutely custom and I love the use of the TMTK items. It's inspiring. Hope you publish on the Workshop so I can source some of your items. Edit: You have an Workshop collection! I'm so happy! Thank you as it's hard to make one.
This is quite the series. I adored your Jagerhorn creation and I love your build so far of this theme. Can't wait for part 4.
This episode was a real treat! Love the high level of detail you dedicate to everything while also maintaining the sense of how a real park would approach it - i.e. beautiful front facing facades and enclosed outdoor area. Would have loved to see you tackle a bazaar but I imagine it would be quote the challenge. Looking forward to the development of this series!
Silv just builds ultra impressive architectural masterpieces to decorate a rollercoaster 😂
this is absolutely amazing, your creative skill and the work you put into being informative really deserves recognition
Always a good day when Silv uploads Love the interior! Especially at night, with the lights. Can't wait to see it full of guests. Also really like the spiralling tiles on the minurettes. Such a nice way of adding some design and texture to them On the mid course break run, I wonder if you will add a realistic (ish) way for people to leave the ride if needed, since that's half the purpose of a MCBR, and if so how. It's a challenging thing to do with coasters that need to be accessible from both sides.
Would you consider this your most ambitious project because this is impressive. The build quality is phenomenal
The tmtk has gotten him to his full potential
Fantastic work, I’m blown away each episode by how you’ve been able to weave the ride and scenery into each other. Feels like the culmination of skills you’ve honed on a the previous projects, both RCT3 and Planet Coaster, and I can’t wait to see the final result. With the second half of the ride, are you planning to have it be exclusively story-based, or will there be some sort of climatic coaster element as well?

Thank you! There will be only a short dark ride coaster section, but I'm giving both coasters a relatively intense finish for sure, by going partially underground as well - but I'm trying to keep them family friendly enough too, of course!
This ride is absolutely amazing

This game has come so far. It's mindblowing.
The station layout gave me anxiety. Holy cow. The thought put into this build is insane. Also. I appreciate the shoutout. You’re a legend. :)
its just insane. Everything you create, is just wow
There I was, looking very proud at my arabian city. Then you come up with this. Duude you make me change and upgrade my Park every time you upload xD
This is gorgeous! Great to see you building in Planet Coaster again!
The station looks awesome!
Heerlijke serie silv!!...loving the series!....a real enjoyment to watch!...cant wait for the next episode!...thanks for sharing and keep it up!
Its just brillant, amazing theming, astonishing to see !
A M A Z I N G! So glad you are back at Planet Coaster 😀 Really missed your perfection, love to detail and creativity! Looking forward to regular Planet Coaster content (especially if you return to Japanes theme)
That looks insane dude!
Amazing work as always
More Silvarret content hell yeah.
Absolutely amazing :O
Gives me Alhambra-Granada spain vibes
Glad u have a computer again!
Excellent work!
Another amazing video
Another amazing part! Can’t wait for the next 😀
As always, a nice creation!
This is amazing!!
You could use stellar plates (present in the basic game) to give a more realistic effect for the night 🌃 Otherwise, I love this series! Good job 👌
The legend returns
The interior is so stunningggg 10/10 gg
I'm so happy that Silvarret's here again
“I’ll try not to talk for 45 minutes straight” no please do so if you want to! Your voice is relaxing your videos cure my insomnia
That's so cool man!
You are just a god at this game 🙌🏼
so amazing!
21:28 Minarets are inspired by towers.... Good one Silv
so damn beautiful bro
I'm not sure if you've done this before, but it would be so cool to see you recreate some scenerios from RCT1, 2, & 3. Imagine how awesome it would be to see those scenarios remade. :D
I didnt realize i missed my favorite theme park nerd before i realized u have new uploads :) however i am Turkish and if i know my ottoman culture and my criticism is accepted you need way more and more fabric decorations and lots and lots of cushion decorations back in the day most of these cultures main trade resource was spices and fabrics.. too many crates might make it look kinda piratish if my janky explanation is accurate :) anyways it was good to watch u build even though I'm a bit late..
A lil detail that kept bugging me at the end: the facade with the red cloth in front of it has the fake wall-scruffs, but they don't go all the way to the top! Other than that little nit-pick, great video! Amazing how you can just build a mosque out of planet coaster material!
Apparently this is a game about roller coasters
gorgeous theming as usual, one thing i kinda want to nitpick on since you're always trying to keep thing realistic is the mid course would ideally have an acces/evacuation stair set so a mechanic can reach the mid course break run or have a safe evacuation point when the ride is stalled from an upward issue making it the train sitting on the midcourse cannot complete it's course... i know this is a very minor detail but i think it'd make this considerably more realistic. also like the hint of how you're planning the transfer/storage track with the lift system it looked like you where going to do instead of sliders to take/add cars onto the track from storage...
Wow, you are still playing Planet Coaster? I haven't seen your videos for years!!
Very very nice 👍 👍 👍
have you got to try prehistoric kingdom with the resizing mechanic and all the modular pieces. i bet you could make something spectacular with the tools they give you in that game.
RIP Silvarret 😢
Could you import this file into the Jägerhorn map and start the beginnings of a park? I would love to see a full Silv Park!
You are a genius. Do you plan your buildings before playing like drawing and stuff or does it come naturally while playing?
Great video! After watching this one I think I'll buy Parkitect myself

I am just jealous! you are so talented! I wish I could do things like that. Do you have any advices, or youtube channels to help me improve my architecture knowledge? GG, by the way, it is absolutely gorgeous.
How do you go about designig these rides? Do you use moodboards, create a story? Concept art?
Yes!!!!
I want everything you create to exist in real life 😅
I think it would have been more interesting to have some kind of alleyway between the mosk and the rest of the town. It would make it feel more legit
have you ever thought about just game envirements or designing things i think you would be great at that
it kind of looks like far far away from shrek so like major win
Background music sometimes sounds like Freak on a Leash.
#masterpiece
Are you planning on joining the stairs to the path??
Prachtige bouwstijl Silvaret!
After this series can you then Please make a vector launced coaster with a theme of a factory i am making this to and idd love to see your take on it Also how do you build this good
