Bravo! Thank you so much. I was calculating the PPF of FCC but I didn't know there were different planar densities (??). Because if you just google this it says 74%, but using different models we get this 111 version. Thank you again!

74% is the atomic packing factor of FCC, the unit cell as a whole, but planar density depends on the crystallographic plane you are looking at inside the unit cell.

The (111) plane in the unit cell forms an equilateral triangle with an angle 60 degrees at each corner. Here the atom at corner is a circle with 360 degrees. hence the part of the atom at the corner within a unit cell is 60/360=1/6.

Planar Packing Factor is (area of the plane covered by atoms)/(total area of the plane). Planar Density is (number of atoms centered on plane)/(total area of plane).

There are not 4 atoms in the base, the length is 4 radii. One radius for each sphere on the edge and 2 radii for the sphere in the center.

i cant tell that the plane cuts 1/3 of the atom at the corner. how can you tell?

+sladeartermiz because the triangle that is formed is equilateral, each corner of it is 60 degrees. It actually cuts out 3x60 degree chunks which is 180 degrees. which is HALF of a full atom.

you only used half the triangle of your plane...so your area should be double.
This is the formula you've used for planar density and not for the PPF. Please explain it.
