If you are visiting for the first time, You may take packages but the packages are time-bound. Please cross check that you don't have to incur additional expenses and quality of hotels. Packages will be good in this case since you are traveling for the first time & there is a language issues. This is because you must be traveling with family. Otherwise, Packages are not required one can plan comfortably.

English is not important to travel to Thailand but at the same time it is difficult to understand Thai. So you can make use of translators.

ko problem nahi, proof of funds randomly check karte hain aajkal. Kuch funds dikha sakte ho, thore Thai baht le jana. Rest in cards
