Hi P. K, immigration happens at the first entry airport of any country. So you will get Visa on Arrival in Bangkok. Then you can enter the country and change the terminal. In Pattaya you can book hotel. From there you can do koh larn island day tour. You can go there from Pattaya and come back. In Bangkok you need to book another hotel.

INR se IDR nahi hota hai Indonesia me. You will have to carry USD from India or You carry some forex or debit card to withdraw money there in IDR.

Koi issue nahi hai. That will your domestic flight in Thailand. You can go anywhere in Thailand. No visa check once you're in Bangkok.

Both are different and beautiful. You should visit both. But still you ask me to chose then. If you prefer beautiful beaches then prefer Thailand (Karabi, phi Phi, phuket). If you wanna prefer different experiences of different cities then prefer Vietnam ( Da nang, Hanoi, hoi an, ho chi Minh,.. There are many different)
