I loved the "well, too bad!" comment. I get such bad FOMO being in the southern hemisphere and the rest of the world are in cosy sweaters and autumn decor is everywhere - my favourite season is autumn, and it always feels like we don't get to celebrate spring here enough, or at least, it's not nearly as visible in social media because Halloween (also my favourite holiday) is normally associated with autumnal elements too. I'm also going with flowers for September in my everyday journal, and watching this really made me want to set it up already! I listen to audiobooks whenever I'm journalling. It's a great way to get through books whilst still being productive. The setup is great - I've never thought of doodling my moods, what a clever idea!

It does feel a bit like having your face rubbed in the opposite season sometimes doesn’t it? All the fashion seasons and makeup colours and limited edition drinks. And then people are like ‘WOW THAT’S SO WEIRD IT’S THE OPPOSITE THERE’ but it’s literally been this way for half the planet forever 😂

I live in Brazil and I love the fact that your seasons are the same as here, so we're going to welcome spring as well. I love decorate September with flowers theme.. ❤

"... well, too bad!" Yes, girl! Yes! My BuJo theme for September is Blue butterfly and books for a few reasons. 1. Blue is my favorite color. 2. Butterflies = Spring (and I'm not a flowers person). 3. Books because I love them and we have the biannual book fair happening this month. Finally 4. It's my birthday month!!! I can't wait to start using those pages!

I know that the southern hemisphere has opposite seasons and i know that christmas is in the summer but for whatever reason my brain never put that september is when spring will start for yall. now my brain is trying to wrap my head around this reality and i think my struggle is so silly. I love your spreads and your ability to mix and match patterns and stickers that seem really different but that when laid on paper actually look really cohesive…I struggle with that and really try to just be like “go for it!” Lol my bujo version of YOLO 😅 anyway, I live in Costa Rica and our seasons match yours (kinda-ish, we really only have rainy and non-rainy season lol) so we’re also headed into spring/summer so it’s so great to see a content creator not doing fall, pumpkins, coffee, and orange tones haha I love that aesthetic for sure, but it’s a little mismatched with the sun and warmth I’m starting to see/feel outside my window. As always, lovely bujo and thanks for the inspiration! 😊

So bright and pretty! I usually either just have silence and space out or listen to an audiobook. I used to not be able to focus on audiobooks at all and had sort of just written them off as not being for me since I'd always space out and lose my place but I tried it one time while journaling and seems like that's the magic trick for me to keep my focus haha

Ohh that’s so lovely that journal + audiobook is your sweet spot! I didn’t love audiobooks at first either. I think I’m much the same, I’m always doing something else at the same time! Driving, journaling, laundry 😂

This theme is beautiful, the pastel palette is absolutely dreamy. Also, very good point about all the extra decorating space in those weeklies, definitely trying the grid for September!

It honestly feels like we’re bombarded with the opposite season because almost all our media comes from the northern hemisphere, and social media can get that way too. Most of my viewers are in the US or Europe, which sometimes feels like a lot of pressure! 💕

I see you took an AI class. Are there any insights you can share about the ethics of it that you learned while using the program?

They didn’t touch on the ethics during the class, not sure about other AI classes. I would love to see it addressed as part of the learning process! I had fun playing with the image generation, and it satisfied my curiosity - as a 35 year old there’s a part of me that’s scared of getting left behind by technology! But I think I’m happy to leave it there now. I am using AI in another area of my life, editing images for my photography business. I feel a lot more comfortable using it for this since I’ve trained the program on my own work and editing style, and I still have to take the photos the old fashioned way. It speeds up my workflow a lot, but it still gets things wrong anyway 😂
