Plaid fix to cool down in this savage world.

Tomason fits my most precise apetites. It seems like a continuation of Scintilli's At last, one of my favourites. Also, I'm glad they're back with a more extensive inclusion of (for a lack of a better word) Plaidian femenine voices, which in the context of this album I can finally rest when I say that they sound like A.A.A. (Artificial Angelical Aliens).

Lovely..... unpredictable.... serene....beautiful....important....serious...joyful.. playful...jovial...and uplifting! Bless you! I really couldn't stress how perfectly timed this is....I'm glad.

I've been back in Plaid world since last Saturday at printworks...shame the set was curtailed due to screen malfunction...I adore this band...have done for decades

I'm not gen X but the future sound of London took me to the orb and back and plaid have been entertaining me since youth passed them on.

The Return of the Kings ! Welcome back with powerfull titles reminding of the years listening to your albums and, at the same time, keeping exploring new melodies, new spaces, new dreams without videos. Enough to satiate my imagination.

I love that it is so unmistakably you, Plaid, yet you keep finding new grounds as well. Congrats on the new album and I will visit the Utrecht show! 😊

Completely different vibe from your other albums but still quintessentially Plaid. I'm so happy to hear another Plaid release. Bowl is my favourite, but there isn't a duff track on the album. I wasn't expecting Nightcrawler at all.

My CD arrived yesterday. Was supposed to be watching Max Cooper but was cancelled last minute so I listened to the CD in entirety on my good speakers with closed eyes. A fine night in. Well done, this is a masterpiece!

My heart skipped so many beats. And visually so troubling. This is love. All around love. Sent through airwaves. Nothing but pure love. We are one. You are me.

@@OFOTCN Nope. That's one side of the equation. Throwing away the baby with bath water and talking of others as not having individuality is just not factual. I read the same books as everybody else, and had my own experiences. Can't stand the superficial "love and light" bs anymore. It's all narratives with very little discernment applied to it.

'Return to Return' is just so intricately gorgeous, but so sweet and short, just hoping we get an extended version for the live shows!

I'm loving the album, pencilled in Manchester, Jazz Cafe and Brighton to catch this live, treats to make up for the two years without Plaid live shows. If you are wondering whether to go or not, just a quick work of advice, when i attended some of the Scintilli live shows (London, Manchester and Glasgow and Norwich) a lot of the tracks varied quite wildly between shows as they were extended, modulated and enhanced. So combined with some of these advanced visuals you will see something unique and special!

Plaid, please come to Seattle!

Was listening to a lot of the older albums lately and I got to say this one is really growing on me. With Plaid I usually got pretty strong favorites on the releases and tend to overlook the rest. This one though I am feeling is the most cohesive and while staying experimental it is still very digestable. I also dig the overall positive vibe of the album even though cwtchr is bringing me on the verge of crying on times

technically impressive and experimental while remaining accessible. really like this album, love the visuals too

Possibly one of the best pieces of music I've heard in my lifetime. Spanners by the Black Dog is a close second. Such original material. So unique.

Всегда понятна недосказанность, в этом порядке звуков и избранных нот. Not as tragic as our time, There is hope in the compositions. Nice inserts of live tools mixed with background visualizations from AI. It is always clear that there is an understatement, in this order of sounds and selected notes.

I absolutely love how they still have that same style, it's classic Plaid. As with BoC or Luke Vibert, they're creative enough to always do new stuff but without veering too far from that magical core sound.
