That new strategy is insane!! Well played !! I tested out but i infected new zealand too late and my lethality was too high and i killed all infectees before the last few thousands. Rip i guess i need more rng.

There is some RNG, but you can get pretty good consistency for speedruns (usually, depending on category)

From my experience not alot when it comes to bacteria, fungus on the other hand is alot more RNG based since its very random and getting a good time all depends on what countries you hit with the spore bursts

Interesting strategy! I recently switched over to starting with cysts and abscesses (like you did here) and have definitely found it to be faster. I was wondering why you evolved hypersensitivity? It looks like its not as good as a deal as just going for nausea/vomiting, coughing/sneezing/pneumonia, or rash/sweating/skin lesions.

well it increases severity slightly so he would receive more dna and it gives a little boost in richer countries

I tried this EXACTLY the way you did it,but on brutal. And guess who sat there nay naying on me till the very end?

People say the video was slowed down so we could understand what was going on and I still ain't got a damn clue of what was happening

Like Jess B said you can't do that on mega brutal since they can detect you even if you have no symptoms once you infect all of the starting country, it's pretty easy once you get used to it and I found out that it's actually better to start with a lot of symptoms rather than get symptoms near the end. Necrosis saved my ass more times than I can count since it enables corpse transmission, I can't recommend it enough

I can beat all plague types in mega-brutal, but I assure you, I cannot be THIS fast.
