But they get partial blame for allowing the specific clip to get past the editing. For Pakistanis and South Asians in general, this word was used in a derogatory manner when our elders first arrived to the UK and is still used to this day in a negative context. Anyone with a hint of empathy should put themselves in the shoes of people who faced this discrimination. You don't need to be brown to understand how demeaning and hurtful words like this can be. Sure, JJ didn't directly say it to anyone, but it's still hurtful regardless. Just look at the response from so called sidemen fans that are now using the word in order to 'defend' the sidemen when in reality, they are just revealing their true colours.

Guys I know what Jj said was stupid and unacceptable and it shouldn’t go Unnoticed at all but don’t let that situation ruin all your channels. Take a week or so break to let the situation calm down.
