Placebo are the important step between the normal rock approach and the newer alternative tendencies. this band showed up with a chunk of new stuff through the "soundscape" of indie vibes, a loud and electrifying pitch and Brian's marvelous voice which gives hot and cold as much as a track needs it. However I don't think they might let down any fans, they stave off the worthless critics, they just embrace the strength and the dedication a band should stick to. They energetically blend the aggressive guitar with a soft electronic merger, they work out a thorough and sad ballad and in the meantime they rip your heart off! They're such a powerful band! They basically try not to be necessary, they side with those apparently giving up, those who get used to be uncool but reaching a decent result in the end! And just for the record they successfully did!

Holy shit! Placebo normally sound great live, but this is one of the best performances of 36 degrees I’ve ever heard. The whole band are on fire and Brian’s vocals are next level, it’s scarily good!
