Like her and many other singers of her type of vocal skills and talent people like to label them as underrated. It’s not about being underrated but more of management, contracts, sometimes ones ideology and/or religious belief, etc. The factors are many. There are a lot of great singers in US and the world. She is not the only one. And again, I believe she has the over package. Tori Kelly is a similar example. But she keeps doing what she is doing because it’s what she loves. Ditto for Jojo.

This isn't raw talent. Raw talent means it has yet to be refined into skill and mastery. They are extremely talented, but have also put in the work to become highly skilled as well. Raw talent could never pull off a live performance to perfection like this.

My favorite song of 2019 still trending in 2020! Such an awesome duet. JoJo is such a necessary singer. Her vocal translation is so broad, effective and delicious. PJ and JoJo on this is butter!

She made her own label, Clover Music, with a distribution deal with Warner Music.
