    PJ is one of those skaters that looks truly comfortable on their board. I love when he lands " Bolts " and on the balls of his feet. Ladd has always set the bar in the Skateboarding world!

    I have done all but : 3:56 - FRONTSIDE FLIPS 5:06 - FRONTSIDE HEELFLIP (did some hardflips but not clean.) I think i can get hardflip again :D Good lucky me guys ! Lets pratice!

    yes, i agree with you.. the reson you wrote out is why i watch rookie tutorials rather than from pro's "put your foot here and there.. flick here, turn there and ride away clean".. also please feel free to upload your tutorial :) many will benefit, im sure..

    Started skating two years and a half ago, and watched this when I started. Now I have all of these except the Front and Back Heel (Fakie I do have) Grateful for this, it helped me go a long way ^_^

    I usually watch these because the pro just makes the tricks look steezy, otherwise I usually learn the tricks on my own. How to's are usually people showing off their consistent tricks anyways haha.

    Best flat ground! Up there with Asta, Joslin, Cole, Olivera, Pudwill. Flat ground contest are amazing.

    somewhere in the 90s varial kickflip became uncool. you wont see them in pro videos ever but maybe witha hippie jump you should know this if you skate its the easiest flat ground flip trick, usually your first. It was my first flip trick.

    Takes commitment took me almost 4 months to land it but it didn't stop me after I learned kickflip I took it off the curb and worked my way up to a 4 stair just practice.

    Kickflips are easier if you practice ollies the right way. Next time you pop an ollie - center your foot between the rails - then roll your foot to the nose and float in the air with the front truck higher than the back (like a bad rocket ollie). Practicing this technique will prep you for a kickflip: when your front foot gets near the nose you flick the foot ever so slightly to form the kickflip :) I've been doing them since 11 years old, now at 25 - I finally know how to describe it!

    I've also learnt the Heelflip before the Kickflip, because i've had a problem with catching the heelflip correct, so it is definetly possible to do/learn the Heelflip before the Kickflip (:

    I agree with neogeon. It is the physics that affects what you do. If you understand the physics you can manipulate the board easily, and knowing what you are actually doing.

    Guys he's doing fundamentals, you know like kick flips up til treflips, there's no laser flips, no 360 hard flips and no super hard tricks... Although if pj Ladd did do like a " pj's flat ground advanced trick book or somthing, that would be awesome for sure XD

    so far I got Kickflip,Heelflip,Shove it,FS Shove it,FS Heel,BS Flip ,BS Heel,Varial Heel,and Varial Flip in the varial flip is not in the bid but I decided to do them anyway I feel that the reason why ppl struggle so much to get their tre flips is because they don't have their varial flips down but that's just my opinion

    as you crouch down, concentrate on a good snap of the board.. drag your front foot to like the corner of the board and kick out. let it flip as you hover above the board (with your shoulders straight) as it completes the spin, catch it with your backfoot first and land and crouch! ((something like that haha.. go watch some vids and skate with friends man!))

    There is 2 different kinds of front side flips and hard flips. There is the flip and catch method and then the folded method where it goes between your legs.

    They're actually easier to learn if your middle toes are in the back pocket and your front foot is just below and off to the side of the front bolts, then all you do is pop, jump, and flick and it's done. I'll make a tutorial if you'd like!
