Theres a lot of Hideki Naganuma influence in this soundtrack, especially with the sample mixing, and its fitting for a game about speed and style to reference a game about speed and style

Pepperman is when it fully hits you that this game is gonna be magical. Most platformers kind of drop the ball in boss fights (Even Wario Land 4), but Pizza Tower makes the bosses just as amazing as the levels.

Agreed. The only boss I dislike is Vigilante due to the gun making you lose access to your strongest evasion tool, and his attack patterns are really tough in the second phase, but he’s still plenty fun

@@F1nicky this is your brain on classic megaman All jokes aside, that’s both impressive as hell and genuinely confusing given how Vigilante is probably the hardest to P-rank for the average Pizza Tower player. I should know, I murked Pepperman, Noise, and inexplicably the final boss with a P rank (even if the final boss’s first phase was uncharacteristically kind).

since pepperman has his tiny form my headcanon is that pepperman was like the 2nd or 3rd toppin you would have collected in levels, but since he wasn’t the first he got jealous and went on to do his own thing, viewing himself as the main character in his boss room

Pepperman is probably my most favorite boss because hes literally a pepper that paints

There's no reason why this theme should go this hard

i love that when he charges the other direction he literally puts his finger up and goes "🤓👆 ermm actually i changed my mind..."

Doesn't feel the same without either Peppino's scream or Pepperman's laugh at phase change.

OH MY GOD this soundtrack is incredible oh and by the way theres a sample from this song at 0:28 (specifically the "do it") from "tag walls, punch fascists" by 2 mello in their album "memories of Tokyo-To" which is heavily inspired by Jet Set Radio, which this game's OST regularly uses soundbites from those songs too. I have no clue what anyone will do with this information but this scratched an itch in my brain I didn't know was there

I'm pretty sure Pepperman is actually harder than all the other bosses, including the final boss, at least at the point of the game he's introduced, would like to see a buff for the noise specially, he seems to be underwhelmingly easy compared to the other bosses in my opinion.

When i first got to pepperman i thought he was really hard. He was. It took me like 15 tries to beat him. But i did find it funny that in world 2 you can see him spraypainting a picture of Peppino.

THIS TRULLY HITS HARD i did listen to it in the game BUT WITHOUT THE SOUNDEFFECTS IS FiRE

I love how you can hear how much of a self-absorbed snob he is just from his theme

This hits like a Pro wrestling intro.

Pepperman is the stereotypical "rich" man that adores himself, portraying that self love in his drawings, and is a overly picky eater, many probably consider him to be an apple, which i too think of that, though i wouldnt encourage someone to say to him he is one.

Imagine seeing someone at the gym absolutely crushing a Deadlift, but with the worst possible form and they're blasting Pepperman's theme through their airpods
