@@aratherlargerodent he was playable in multiple pre-release demoes so everyone was hoping for him to be playable in the full game eventually, the official PT twitter also stated he wouldn't be ready for launch but they'd add him back at some point. just took a lot of work to give him his own version of Peppino's campaign.

To think that so much happend in the last year of development and they nailed it for the full release. Such a good game

y'know even if I may not be interested in this game anymore personally, these are some rather smart decisions. the game definitely felt a bit unfocused before and while I may prefer that, I respect you trying to keep things consistent in order to create a more solid experience. so y'know good luck with what you're setting out to do, hopefully more people will wind up loving this game in the future!

Looking back at this I’m laughing like a maniac at the statement of: level designs won’t change drastically. Literally around 3/4’s of the games levels got redone almost completely.

You've got this, I have no doubt the finished game will still be fantastic as it was in the earlier builds, regardless of how many interesting changes that were made during each version.

When the pizza tower is ready my man, I will chow down.

Really excited about the power up changes. Between those and some of the other changes I've seen, I was afraid the speed aspect of PT was starting to be downplayed.

After completing the base game, it's astounding to see how much of this game was scrapped. I hope there was no development hell going on behind the scenes. Since there is a whole yard of scrapped levels, will they ever be released as DLC or will they remain Patreon exclusive forever?

It Would Be Cool If It Came Out This Year For Wario Land 4's 20th Anniversary.

The old UI was one of my favorite things in this game. I'm kinda sad that it's gone. Would be nice if there was an option to change it back.

This game really went a long way, but after seeing the end result, I feel that every change and revision brought it to new heights. In the end, it's become the lovingly crafted masterpiece it was meant to be.

This build looks like it’s inbetween rework and April build… cool.

I call this, the most important devlog of all pizza tower, mostly because what made the eggplant version really heppen, and made the final version much more enjoyable than april 2021, because via the gameplays from that build, april 2021 have kinda weird level design in general, the change of the game philosophy on this devlog was a really game change to make the level design what we have now

The idea that this game might be done this year is surreal to me, but of course, it's still "might", no promises or anything. Still, I love the little improvements this game gets with each new build.

In this dev log: Peppino and co. Straighten the leaning tower of pizza. Good choices to polish up and revamp mechanics that weren't working. It'll take longer to release, but the game will be better for it

This game is so surreal and so atypical to everything else in the gaming industry that it barely feels real. I'm stunned by it every time I look at it, and I mean that in the best way possible. This feels like what a game meant to be art can really achieve when it isn't shackled by gaming conventions and is also made by people who understand what gamers like to see and play.

Wow...the game has changed a lot, it really is deviating from its origins and inspiration. Glad you're able to get enough ideas to make it stand out more!
