Pixel Perfect - When the Rain Falls
Ойын-сауық
Perfomed by Samantha (Leah Pipes)
[LYRICS]
Ohoo oo
I dont understand
This should be so easy
To just reach my hand
And know the world is free
But nothings, as it seems
I can tell you freely
Touchings not the only way to feel
[CHORUS]
When the rain falls
Its like heavens crying
When the names all
The difference that there is
Cause tears are
The same when they are trying to grow something good
Out of all the pain
Theres no difference between the teardrops and the rain.
I know you proudly say
That Im just talking crazy
To think of life that way
Means that Im confused
Theres happy and theres sad
But maybe yes just maybe
The sadness can make the happiness more true
[CHORUS]
When the rain falls
Its like heavens crying
When the names all
The difference that there is
Cause tears are
The same when they are trying to grow something good
Out of all the pain
Theres no difference between the teardrops and the rain.
Because I know the bones were necessary
I dont let it bother me at all
[CHORUS]
When the rain falls
Its like heavens crying
When the names all
The difference that there is
Cause tears are
The same when they are trying to grow something good
Out of all the pain
Theres no difference between the teardrops and the rain.
Ohoo oo

I always really liked this movie, and I think the reason no one ever really talked about it is because it was ahead of Disney. It was too mature for the typical disney audience...which is why i loved it

i just finished watching this and it really sucks how disney will never make movies like this anymore i missed it when disney made movies that had such a strong message behind it yet none of us really understood them until we got older this movie teaches you to not be so pressured into being the perfect person and to not pretend to be someone that you're not and the most important thing to do is to be yourself it's really sad how back then when we were kids disney & nickelodeon were made for teenagers but then as soon as we became teenagers it started to be for little kids and now kids will NEVER understand these kinds of movies that we grew up with

oh my god do you guys HEAR this?! this was literally one of the most REALEST songs Disney Channel had to offer. Not that same modern glittery pop idol junk they call themselves doing with these new stars now...this is just beautiful and you can also hear her mourning for Loretta (as irritating as she was through the first half of the movie. GOD did i use to hate Loretta but her death was still sad.)

this was soooo sad for me when I was a kid. I wanted to cry during that rain scene.
Even my dad liked this song! I remember this tugging at my heartstrings. Even as a kid I thought this movie was a little more "mature" than some other DC movies. I thought the acting was good, and I was amazed that it dealt with certain philosophical themes like Loretta's yearning to be human, Roscoe's feelings for someone not "real," and all the implications those situations come with. Of course, there were things that bothered me too, like how the singing voices were blatantly older people. :P

This movie touched my soul back then..still does now 😢
The part where she enters Sam's brain and wakes her up and then the ending was so nice.
This is probably the best DCOM ending. Nowadays, Disney Channel endings are like- "Problems solved- let's celebrate with showy music and dancing and all that partying stuff!" But this ending isn't as flashy and is more humble and the song is more true and more meaningful, as was the moral of the story. The ending's much more touching than the modern DCOMs'. It deserves more attention.
I miss these types of movies on Disney

Me too. Such good Disney nostalgia.
Even after twelve years or so this song still gives me goosebumps.
This was my very favorite DCOM, right along with the Zenon movies, but I think this one was so powerful and wonderful because image and perfection is something we all struggle with and it is presented in such an abstract way through this movie. It was underrated back then but I think that this was one of the best, and most relevant, DCOMs after just watching it again as a grown up.

@metawolf987

+Lauren Not just relevant now, the message in this movie is timeless. We as human beings, are not meant to be perfect. And once we realize that, we can live the life we were meant to live.
This song had 12 year old me REALLY going through it 😓😞 But seriously, I think this movie was ahead of its time for Disney! I didn’t always like Disney Channel Original Movies, but this one always stuck with me, especially this song. I had it on my first MP3 player and listened to it well into my teens lol. I’m 28 now and re-discovering how good/meaningful these lyrics are...
Loretta's talent is in pop rock songs (high, fun & energetic) and Sam's is in inspiring ballads (kinda lower, but beautifully flowing) I love when she discovers that. This DCOM ending is the BEST! It's so much better than the ending of HSM, Camp Rock, and Starstruck, don't you agree? Disney Channel thinks, "ok, we need sad breakups & a happy, partying ending." But Pixel Perfect is different. It has more than that.

Not even Camis assets are goin to get ya any attention... And since we already imported Cameran and Cam’ron we know who you mean. I can’t stand you. All you had to do was stay out of my way and leave my brothers alone and nothing bad would’ve happened. You ruined everything. I hope someday someone can make you watch daily homevideos of all the bad stuff ya done while the rest of your peoples have a nice dinner without you criticizing everything they do and using other people to make them feel down. Like for example, no one is going to negatively critique (when they’re not involved in any way) a rap or song until you show them how to because you’re a delusional hating wench and I’m Ali’Caylah ya dumb broad enough with your technical rhetorical bs you don’t know real rhetõric and I saw some of your college stuff it was very important that I let you know I found your paper to be shallow and pedantic. Just admit to YOUR nonbrothers from PIRU N’ BONE that you and Themma have been in a pacto de zomodaraffsaz exageradasss to ruin your family’s life and for what? For no reason! Then you’d send your mom to the store for cheese and hide the cheese or toss it so that she could think she was losing her mind

I know exactly how you feel. Because I feel the same way about this scene. And long live the old school Disney
Even to this day this song gives me goosebumps. One of the few songs that makes me want to cry.
About a dozen years ago I was cleaning around the house when I heard this song coming out my daughter's bedroom. (Pixel Perfect had just aired for the first time on Disney and my oldest daughter had begged me to get the soundtrack CD.) I stopped in my tracks and listened to the song and it was surprisingly good; a beautiful lyric and great music. I walked to her door and leaned in and asked her what was playing. She said "This is the Pixel Perfect soundtrack - now you know why I wanted it so badly!" I didn't know that a Disney TV movie could be such a thoughtful and moving work -- they really had some serious talent involved, clearly.

My mom never saw this movie and had no idea why I was crying. When my friend's dad died I heard this song in my head when I heard the news. 4 years after this movie aired and forgot it
From a simple girl playing the guitar to being a friend and in some ways part of the most powerful family ever , the originals
Disney is shit now, I miss the old movies these bring back old memories. :')
When Disney was at its peak for both teens and young adults. Now it’s more of a kids teen demographic.
Every now and then I always come back to this song and this movie. It was definitely ahead of its time. Disney is all about the 💰 now days. Don’t make em like they used to and don’t do good music like they used to. Pixel perfect was well..perfect. They should defo do something with this. 💛✨

i resang this song in the park for my girlfriend and she fell with suck shock that i remembered the song from when we were kids and it brought back the memories we had through grade school
Love this movie so much and songs keep the good job they should have a part two
The scene in Sam's mind makes me cry every time I watch it, and it is the reason this is the only DCOM that will stick with me as long as I live. Well, this and Minutemen, but that had lesser emotional impact because it was all boys. Such a powerful message and life lesson for children and adults alike. And this song was such a perfect and natural follow-up to that scene. I miss DCOMs like this soooo much :'( . I wish I could show this movie to my niece now that she is older, she was too little to even want to watch a movie like this back when it released. Even if she doesn't connect with the movie like I did, I just wanna be able to say, "that's Leah Pipes, 9 years before she starred on The Originals" xD :3 .

@@Truecrimeresearcher224 Yeah, Disney used to do that regularly with their DCOMs. But all that changed after High School Musical. As far as I can remember, Invisible Sister was the only throwback to older DCOMs. With the Original Series', Ultra Violet And Black Scorpion seems to be a throwback to older shows, but the modern social media culture is bogging it down I think.

I don't know if it was the best but it's certainly in the top 10 with Susie Q and Don't Look Under the Bed.
This song was really touching and it gave me the feels. Matter of fact, it still does. Wish I could go back to these times when Disney didn’t end all this.
I feel like crying when i watch this movie and when i hear the songs. In the middle its sad because shes like i wished you never made her and then loretta looks. And at the end its even sad because we look in her mind and see everything is broken and loretta is gone
Now I know why everytime I finished that movie I felt a hole in my heart. It's because this movie was beyond other Disney's films, the plot was for "mature" audience one way or another.
This movie gave me the feels everytime I watched it. I'm 27 now and want to go back 😩

It's funny, I honestly did not recognize her on The Originals before I saw her name in the credits, because Pixel Perfect is where I first saw her, as a teenager, and in TO she is a full-grown woman with highlighted hair. I wish she had stayed brunette :( .
After watching this on Disney plus, I realized how truly sad this movie really is. Loretta was so pure and innocent and yet she was suffering so much in this movie because she couldn’t do the things everyone else could do. Then she ends up dying.
this song always makes me want to cry!
