I really like their arcade setup in this video.Like you said, they really tried to have all their bases covered. Lots of 90s games, early 2000s games, rhythm games, and some ticket games. Very few 80s games - which I think is good. I visited an arcade where the owners clearly grew up in the 80s, and just filled the entire arcade with only 80s games. They are struggling financially. There's only so much Pac Man and Galaga a person can play before it gets old! Need more variety. I tried to suggest they put in 90s and 2000s cabinets, but they didnt want to listen. They treated the business like their own personal arcadr collection, and not like an actual business. They don't listen to customers.

The reason a lot of new arcades aren't in bigger cities are because of the crazy high rent prices. Many arcade owners can't afford to open in a large major city anymore. The rent is super super expensive. It's much cheaper to open in the suburbs, or a smaller town. Also, some cities aren't welcoming to arcade businesses. They still have old laws in place that prevent arcades from being open in a city. They classify arcades as gambling and refuse to let them operate. Lastly, some landlords don't want arcades on their property and refuse to rent space to arcade businesses. They don't want kids and teens hanging around. Many upscale malls refuse to rent space to arcades. Or if they do, they only allow the arcade to open on the very edge of the property that's far away from everything. I've met several arcade owners who have talked about having to really work hard to find a city that is welcoming to arcade businesses.

Time Crisis 3 and Time Crisis 4 are my favorite games. To be honest, I never finished Time Crisis 3.
