There is a problem that spoils the quality of the microphone

I want to install Pixel experience ROM on my Redmi Note 7 device. Is it good to go? And which one I should go for, PE with Android 13 which is currently in Beta or PE Rom with Android 12 (Stable) ? And also I have one more question that, is it working fine? And issue ?

Hello. Here's my reply to your question: It is pretty much completed. There are some minor bugs, but I'm on the first revision of 13, so I'd assume it has been fixed. I think you should go 13 to avoid the SIM card lock screen bypass. Performs fine for most apps and better than when it is in MIUI. The fingerprint reader may stop work if you changed build.prop or after switching to another user and back. You should disable the baked in camera app and get a third party G-Cam apk because the built-in one is buggy. It's also recommended to install Magisk and Xposed.

It runs about 30fps in Genshin Impact default, and 20-25 fps in "Project Sekai:Colorful Stage ft. Hatsune Miku!" Ifuudoudou and Happy Synthesizer 3DMVs on High.

Remember, this will break Widevine, so if you want HD Netflix/Prime Video/Disney+/Paramount+/etc, don't install the ROM.

You should also check the "PixelOS" fork. It boasts decent improvements.

It works! I use the kdrag0n Magisk Module OR PropsFix, but SafetyNet passes with these tools. One thing to note is if you switch to another user but then switch back, your fingerprint will not work until restart.

@@YuukiGNS do you currently run MiUI 12? If so, it gets insanely faster. If you use MIUI 11, you will notice but the difference is not much.

You may be able to undervolt the SoC with a Magisk module, and that's what I did despite it staying quite cool.

Hey A7, it's ok, we've all been there. This ROM work wonderfully compared to stock MIUI. However, you should also download the Magisk manager, flash the patched Recovery.img and install SafetyNet Fix Magisk module. I will link to the guide/patched one to you.

After you installed the ROM, download Magisk manager, patch and flash the recovery.img. Boot into fastboot and on your computer, type in fastboot flash recovery [name].img (what the final patched recovery looks like)

Update: most 2D games run decently. Project Sekai: Colorful Stage ft. Hatsune Miku with 3DMV on High scored about 15fps on MiUI 12, and scored about 20-25fps on PixelExperience with Ifuudoudou and Happy Synthesizer. Both stutter and may require slight tweaks and adjustments for demanding games.
