I've had an iphone since whichever was the first model to offer 3g. Recently made the nervous leap to the Pixel 7 pro and I am blown away. I was already heavily into Google (chrome and Gmail synced across all my devices) and the transition from an 11 pro max to this new Android has been seamless. It's just a better phone in nearly every way.

Hardware wise it’s not and that’s exactly why I am not switching. I love pixel software but google needs to step up their game in hardware. For example, the camera overall is better on iPhone, battery life better on iPhone, processor faster on iPhone, speakers better on iPhone, water resistance better on IPhone. Watch and AirPods apple is better. All the everyday basic things better on iPhone. Even for me iOS is boring now but basic features that I really care about iPhone does it better.

​@nik maknojia arguably in 99% of the camera tests I've seen people choose Samsung and pixel photos over iPhone, the battery life is amazing on the pixel unless you use your phone for 15 hours a day you shouldn't need more battery, the iPhone has worse hardware then Samsung (smaller battery, bigger cutout, etc) so just get a midrange Samsung phone. Especially with the Google messaging system being the same if not better than imessage. I used iPhone for about 4 years and just switched, don't regret it a bit.

There's another feature within Personal Safety. When you trigger Emergency SOS, it gives you the option to record a video that goes directly to emergency services. Hopefully people won't need this but it's there if needed. To enable this: 1. Go to the Personal Safety App 2. Tap on the Settings icon in the top left corner 3. Tap Emergency SOS 4. Scroll down to Record Emergency Video. 5. Tap to enable it if it isn't on already.

@@world1583 Didn’t use it as much as I expected. However, whenever I did, it worked well. Overall I would give it an 8/10 because often times when a person is speaking very fast or if the environment is noisy, it struggles to catch words

Even then they won't. Most of android sales are mid-range or lower phones, which are dominated by Chinese brands. Meanwhile Samsung has had its place in the flagship market.

@@hiep_exe I meant to say Android flagship market. pixel phones take the best photos out of any other phones. KZread videos don't do them justice. you have to see it in real life. i love taking photos with my phone so if the pixel can fix it's quality control issues i will buy it in a heartbeat.

If they will only release their phones worldwide. Here in the Philippines we have a group of pixel enthusiasts. They still use the pixel phones even though we don't have access to 5g, VoLTE and other peimary pixel features because pixel phone is not released here locally and we will only be able to gain access to those features if Google released the pixel phones here. Hoping it will happen in the near future.

I’m always impressed by the video quality everything I come here ❤ Some features are available on other phones though. The vaccination card and battery widgets are available on iOS too. Research for this video must’ve been a pain to do since there’s so many phones with their own android skins out there.overall, amazing video though!

It is important to note that if the "Nearby playing" doesn't automatically recognize the song, manually pressing the button does send audio to googles servers

one more pixel exclusive i love is in the auto rotation tab, whenever auto rotate is off and i rotate the phone, i get the option to rotate the phone with a button on the bottom of the screen, this way i dont have to turn on auto rotate everytime i want to rotate something

I just switched today from my like 4 years old Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact to the Pixel 7. I spend so much on a phone anymore, but I really LOVE it! It works so smooth. Also, I chose the 256 GB version which is 8 times of what my XZ1c had! It‘s such a blessing to finally be able to install all the apps which I had to delete from my former phone because my storage got filled so quickly.

Great video man! Super informative as I try to teach my 80 year old mom what she can do with her Pixel 7!

T G So Happy to hear that 🙂. When I got my First Smartphone, (a Nexus 6P), I knew nothing about Technology and was in my late 60's. I asked my Daughter to help me get started. Unfortunately, the first thing I did, by myself, was set up the Fingerprint feature. Huge Mistake. My Daughter was furious because every time she started to show me something, the Phone would turn off , and it required my fingerprint. She told me She wouldn't help me until I removed it, which I did. However, I never asked her for help again. It's now 7 years later, I got a Pixel 6 Pro for Christmas last year. Anyway, the bottom line for me, every thing I've learned I learned myself, (and in no small part, You Tube). I'll be 76 Next week, and I'm learning Something New Every Day. Learning myself is best for me, and very satisfying. If I have been able to learn, So To can your Mother. But it's so nice to hear You're helping Her. (Patience is its own reward - Yours and Her's). @@dyllangames3592 Only the Pixel phones have the ability to set shadow, highlights and the white balance in the normal camera app. It might be true, that you can tweak the white balance on other phonrd in pro mode but not in the normal photography mode. Also you only can adjust the brightness, not the highlights and shadows seperatly. So no Im not talking about pro mode, Im talking about an pixel exclusive feature.

@@pretor706 By just tapping one time on the screen in the camera app. That wy you set your focus. On the left side you then will find the hightlights and shadows slider and om the right side youll finde the white balance slider ;)

3:50 I 1st saw this feature on my Huawei P20. Idk if google had it 1st or Huawei but it was a very useful feature.

You forgot live caption, the best Pixel feature and also the lens integration. Live caption is so cool even if you aren't disabled. You can "listen" to speech messages in public without headphones or the speaker.

6:34 I would love to have this feature and the hold my call but unfortunately as I'm from the UK this is not available here 😢

Just recently switched from Pixel 4XL to Moto E30 Ultra!!! Few of the features like call screening doesn't work in the place I live..but I must say I had a wonderful time with the Pixel and I miss the update situation very much.

What made you settle for the new moto and not one of the new pixels? I am still on the fence because of battery life with no quick charge. But I am enticed by all these cool features.... Question is will I really use them or will I regret not just taking a phone with a better battery life.

@@TinfoilHatGirl Pixels are better in each and every department and best at photography but raw performance is where it lacks as they use a subpar chipset compared to the Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 on the Moto..I game a bit and use my handset as a mobile PC so I chose Moto over Pixel

For the same price (I can get pixel 7pro with a contract for realme's free market price) which one would you choose? I haven't used my phone for gaming yet, because my current one is too old anyway but I'd maybe want to play genshin impact with a new phone but I don't think I'd spend too much time with gaming

Point your Pixel directly to a billboard and the phone will give you all the details and also ask if you want to call or save the number for pater call

Watching this on my Pixel 7 unfortunately some features are not included in my country but it's ok so satisfied and happy about what the Pixel is bringing coming from 8 years of iPhone, hell im not switching back

Hey, I have a Pixel XL that I bought 2nd hand. Can confirm that it has the "life time photo and video upload". Still do in 2024, even on Lineage OS custom rom.

The camouflage feature is on the 6/6+ now! It's not a Pixel 7/7+ feature anymore! EDIT: night mode is also on snapchat for the 6/6+ too!

The reason I’m still using my pixel 3 is the unlimited backup of my photos on storage saver
