​​@@Navjotchahal55before I got mine I was like you regarding the size, but I have to say they really aren't that big. They don't stick out too much at all. And I've got small and comfort wise I sleep with them in and they don't bother me. I have worn them through work days with no comfort issues

​@@MrFantastic23do you get a slight almost hissing sound just before you play audio and it lasts throughout audio playback but stops a few seconds after you pause the audio or stop audio playback? I just got my pixel buds pro with my pixel 8 and this hissing is driving me nuts

So are all these new features super wide band and clear calling for just the earbuds or does it only work with these earbuds and a pixel phone

If so why, can't my Pixel 7 with its Tensor G2 and Bluetooth 5.2 get enhanced clear calling? Is the Enhanced Clear Calling on the Pixel Buds Pro with the 5.9 firmware update exclusive to the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro (Bluetooth 5.3 and Tensor G3)?

The update is for the pixel buds pro and the features works with any other phones especially pixel phones

all these updates about sound and voice quality and the videos audio is really bad lol.

It is not pixel exclusive feature but pixel buds is super smart with pixel phones

So how is the fantastical super wide band bandwidth filled, actually? Do they increase the typical frequency cutoff from the upper end of 10-16kHz to something that's finally decent? Or is it just improved bitrate with the same crappy frequency cutoff?

Why not appreciate the improvement and stop caring about the technical side of it? I have had the Buds Pro for a year now and there is nothing crappy about them. My only complaint is that the case often runs out of battery bcz it can only deliver around 1.5 charges on the buds. Other than that, they are great!

You can hear the difference between different frequency cutoffs quite clearly. Record any wired Headset/Microphone versus any Bluetooth headset and you'll know what I mean. The answer to my question would tell me whether it's even worth to try and test them.

i use them continously for 3+ hrs a day and they last me full 3 days with only case discharged. they get the job done, good noise cancellation too

Planning to get one this fall. Any suggestions on which color to pick? Not a big fan of vibrant ones and don't want charcoal either, so debating between fog and lemongrass.

lol. Lemongrass isn't vibrant? If you don't want "vibrant colors" or charcoal, fog is your only option.

they should improve the music quality turn up the max volume that would make me buy it possibly extend the warranty

This is a software update not a refresh. The only new thing is that they have added color options to match the pixel 8 line. So your Buds Pro are getting this update as well.
