You guys keep complaining “no effort!” “Just a paint job!” “Lame!” UH HELLOOOO!! What do you expect an entire different ride? This is not a slow ride like Mr. Toad or Peter Pan. They can’t make animatronics that move! You’ll barely see them! Honestly Disney went through a lot of work for this. So if you don’t appreciate it, next time don’t set your expectations so high. Myself, I am very excited to ride this next time I go to the park. So next time don’t comment that stuff. Because Who’s gonna look dumb when you’re having a blast on this ride?

Everyone calm down, everyone had a low expectation for this ride so why are we all acting so butthurt, if anything this exceeded my expectation.

Alex M they are unable to have digital projectors in the tubes to project the images on the screens so that’ll be a complete waste of time and money.

Lmao people complain too much. making some of the figures animatronic would be pointless considering how fast you're going. Thats no excuse for Edna not being animatronic when she easily could have been but i don't mind the others being static. as long as you understand whats going on, expedition everest has a yeti that no longer moves and the effect is still just as good... besides the coaster is still what you loved before just with a new theme. and in recent years they've been doing pretty good, like with mission breakout and other recent rides, 7 dwarves mine train, the new yeti on the Matterhorn, etc. besides just because they don't do as good with one project doesn't automatically mean they're going downhill... if we're going with that logic than superstar limo would have marked the downfall of imagineering... but they did just fine after that monstrosity.

Comparing these junk props to the yeti is totally unfair. Yeti has lighting effects and it's always dark in there, even during the day. Same with matterhorn, Yeti parts are (mostly) immersive and in the dark to set atmosphere. This is just amusement park cheap props.

Yes but the incredicoaster was primarily meant to be ridden in the dark... as they had to work around the way California screamin was built, it wasn't exactly made to fit big static figures let alone animatronic. especially in the tubes. and these characters do have lighting effects, it just sucks that you would really need to ride it at night to experience the full thrill.

They didn't even full enclosure the scream tubes underneath the track, so light leaks in & ruins the lighting effects in the day time. Also the life hill part where the trains are traveling slowly makes it painful obvious that Elastigirl & Jack Jack are just static figures. They couldn've at least made her eyes move.

this is technically an improvement from screamin since that had no theme but compared to Pandora, the upcoming galaxy's edge, or even toy story land it's safe to classify this as one of Disney's B or even C list attractions

mystery brick Paradise Pier was themed after an Old Victorian styled boardwalk pier in California. California Screamin' followed that theme.

KG V California Screamin’ mimicked a classic wooden pier roller coaster but with a twist.. It launches.

Bet half these complainers can’t even afford into these parks so they are just lashing out because it’s the new thing they can’t ride. Doesn’t matter if it’s good or not. One it’s incredible which I love, and two, yes it’s CA Screaming still, at heart. Can’t wait to ride it. And btw. If animatronics were in the tube that would be dangerous fir riders if something were to happen. Think peopke

Jennifer connolly Night is only a couple hours at the parks plus rides on the pier like this one close early for world of color, so saying that "it's a night ride" is really a joke when the ride is only really open during the day, and subsequently sucks during the day

people are complaining how some of the statues of the incredibles look wonky. i think the reason being why they’re not really animatronics is because the ride queue video says how it’s a dedicated roller coaster to the incredibles. idk just a thought

Thanks for taking us on the new version of this coaster. We always loved California Screamin’ and were disappointed it was closed for our visit earlier this year. Glad to see the ride is essentially the same great coaster, but it’s bittersweet because we loved the music and theming before. Excellent video! Feel free to check out our channel if you’re interested in seeing some coasters here in the Midwest. There’s an awesome new spinning coaster at Silver Dollar City in Branson which we reviewed when it opened in March.

I love the animatronics and I don’t care what you people say but this is an amazing accomplishment from Disney and they should keep it up. Speaking of Up they need an UP ride. BUT BACK KN TOPIC THIS RIDE IS AWESOME AND PEOPLE WHO SSY OTHERWISE ARE STUPID.

How does the queue and pre-show have more effort put into it than the actual ride..

Maybe it looks better at night, although thematically I think it worked a little better for me personally as just "You are supposed to imagine you are riding (something like) a beach-side roller coaster" since that was the original intent (as far as I got out of it). Now there's a clash of identities in my mind and since they couldn't go with immersive theming, it looks off to me. Maybe it's just my memory getting in the way of the change.

You'll love it! We rode it twice. Day and night. Highly recommend riding it at night. :)

I always wanted to ride this but I was a kid and too scared, they were constructing it whilst in June which was a huge disappointment. I’m 21 now and I really want to ride this ride actually. It’s on one of my got to do list.

Six Flags Sucks! Name 1 scary ride there, the Medusa? Most of their rides close down easily which is a completely waste of your money and not a satisfying experience. I'd rather save up money to go to the Disney Parks than go there.

The Rapping Genius the ride wasn’t designed for animatronics the tubes were meant for the view to the pier and the tubes are only there because they want to keep the people that live at the apartments behind DCA from hearing screams all the time. The art for screamin for the attraction poster showed no tubes because they really weren’t supposed to be there. They could’ve made edna animatronic but they also have a focused budget on certain projects because they have to keep in mind the money they spend on projects.Pandora had a higher budget but this was just a ride overhaul for a previously already existing ride to where barely anything was changed besides the queue,onboard audio,show elements,repaint of Screamtubes,added light features to tubes,VIP room(show element[nothing was there originally])repaint of tracks(rust got on the track after a good amount of years),preshow,static figures,Launch changes from LIM to LSM,And...the launch spiel. The ride still functions the same.Sorry im rambling but my points should make sense right ? :)

Aside from the ride itself, I really didn't like a TV screen over your head every 5 feet in the queue. There are like 3 TV screens during the entire Space Mountain queue and here we get 4 screens in the span of about 25-30 feet! All playing the exact video.

This will look best at night.

How tacky. It's such a cheap overlay, that the station gates still aren't even painted or themed. So Disney blows millions on this pointless lackluster Pier makeover then instead of having Passholder Previews, they charge people $300 to be the first to ride this disappointing re-hash? A CEO needs to be fired for this.

I agree with you California screamin was good but I’m excited for this theme ! California screamin didn’t have anything special but this has some of our favorite characters on ride and for the people that have see incredibles two already understand the whole kinda thing they were trying to do. I’m excited about this change !

Aaly Ramirez it just depends usually on average from 20 to 40 mins but don’t be intimidated by the wait it doesn’t take long at all

Guardians replacing Tower was fine because they did a good job on it. This is just really sad. This is the type of theming I would expect at Knott's

Elementer Channel Yes at Disneyland or Magic Kingdom but rides at Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios do have a lot of thrill/adult rides

gissneric Those are in Florida though. There are a few thrill rides, but they are easily outclassed by other rides at amusement parks nearby, such as Magic Mountain and Knotts.

I almost felt like I was there! and great integration from the movie into this ride! I loved the Incredibles touches in the tunnels, too! I wanted to ride it again, and thanks to you I can! just start over and off we go! great idea!

I really don't know what I was expecting but......this is...…..lackluster. I liked the classic, California boardwalk theming 10 times better than this. I hate to sound negative but this is just awful. The colors are oversaturated and tacky, the Incredicoaster honestly looks unfinished and lazy, and overall there's just a lack of innovation compared to some of the lands Disney has recently premiered across their theme park IPs, (Pandora, Carsland, Fantasyland Expansion etc.) . I think it could of been something great if they would have given it a 2 year construction plan but understandably the Pier is a ticket attraction area and having it under construction for that long would have been a poor move on Disney's part.

I am very not impressed. I know its new but still they should put more effort into it

It’s better if u ride it in real life trust me I was skeptical about this ride but it’s like a different experience when ur there

California Adventure is so bad. It used to be better slightly, but it's always just felt like a slightly better upkept Knotts Berry farm. It has none of the magic of Disneyland.

laziest fucking disney ride ever. how desperate can monetizing get. california screamin was classic and original with a great soundtrack and this right here is six flags. guess you gotta kill thé thrills to pay the bills.
