The artistic design work and finished miniatures look supremely high budget.

@@jayh9529 You're writing from the International Space Station?! I hope the tension isn't too high up there.

The shot where Cole Hauser grabs onto the beam in the cargo hold as the walls just got ripped away behind him look absolutely stunning. That movie is real masterpiece.

Always thought that the world built for that movie (low budget or not) perfectly suited the story. Like he said, constraint breeds creativity.

The skeleton for the maquette of the hungry alien "bioraptors" is above the inside of the entranceway to the door of Double Negative. Never get tired of that.

Experiencing the crash from inside the ship was more exciting - 1st person POV seems like it would be an obvious choice. One of the best parts of the movie.

Pitch Blach is a classic masterpiece in the sci-fi survival genre. Vin Dieseil announced RIDDICK FURYA we have been waiting since 2019! this will surely be the end of the Saga of the Chronicles of RIDDICK and Vin Diesel has collaborated for 20 years with David Twohy to interpret his best role.

You'd think that showing a crash sequence from inside the ship would make it more expensive. ;P

Love this series your putting out now. Been watching so many of them! Fascinating stuff. However I've been noticing, I can hear any movement or adjustments the camera operator does with the camera, a sort of acoustic feedback. If you wear headphones, you can hear the fingers moving across the camera as the operator adjusts the camera. I believe this phenomenon is called microphonics or microphonism in electronics, except it's not inducing noise into the video but being captured in the audio. Nothing the camera operator can do about it, manufacture didn't add enough isolation in the camera housing and microphone pickup. The interviewer's audio sounds good, as he has a lapel mic on, so that should be isolated from this induced sound from the cameras mic. Maybe just only mix the interview mic if that's available instead. Thanks, I appreciate the effort that went into this series.

No, it's usually the mic rubbing against the clothing. This is a no budget out-of-pocket project. I mostly had to work alone. It is what it is.
