I’m so impressed with the guinea pigs! They are prey animals and they seem very comfortable with the dog. She knew what she was doing with making sure they got comfortable so they didn’t just freeze up and get stressed. I lovely dog, sweet pigs and a great owner.

Nah, if that was a thing, then no family dog ever would show aggression towards pet small mammals (but they do)

My dog is the exact same way with my bunnies. He's not used to being around other animals, so when I got my bunnies I was concerned that there were going to be issues. The very first time I let them out he ran over and gave them kisses and cuddles. That's when I knew I had nothing to worry about.

I hate having bigger pets... only bc I always accidently hurt them. I always accidently bump into them or step on their tails or shut the door on their tails/ paws or something like that. They constantly follow me around. Piggies can too. It just takes awhile for their tiny wobbly walking selfs...You'd think it'd be the other way around but nope

We have an 80lb MALE rescue pittie. He is the same way with the chinchillas cats and other dogs in our house. In addition he keeps bringing POSSUMS in the house. He tries to adopt EVERYTHING. He never hurts them he just believes they should be in the house like him. When our cat had kittens one died. Our pitbull took over(except nursing lol)the remaining kitten and spoiled that little booger ROTTEN. And he is STILL rotten to this day! That cat and our jackrat terrier are far more aggressive and dangerous than our pibble. He IS very protective of his pack...but thats as it should be. As long as no one is trying to hurt one of us he is a big softie. Thankyou for this it was lovely! And you as always DoDo!🐾😍

A dog who was raised with love can recognize love when he sees. He knew you love those weird puppies, so he did just the same.

Scar spirit My friends little dog killed all the kittens the cat had birthed. She caught the dog in the act one night, kitten in its mouth being shook like a toy. She couldn’t believe her little dog had done it. She put two and two and figured the other kittens were killed by the dog. 😱And then she tried giving him to me! I had my excuse, I wasn't an animal person then. Now of course, I would have taken him, since I love animals and dogs. Have 4. Lol.

They arent more dangerous, but they are more sensitive. If they are raised in a home without love and patience, then they could be dangerous. Pitties are amazing, my favorite breed actually, but you always have to be careful. They are bred to be easily trainable for fighting. Its awful, but true.

One gazillion percent, yes! Often companion animals will bond so closely to their people that, in my experience, they often join in on hobbies- my late cat man Luke would lie beside me, chin propped up on my shoulder when i laid in bed and read. This was a rescue cat who "could be temperamental". Best cat ever. 💖

They do, but unfortunately people abuse pitties and especially with rescues they see dogs at their worst and need to protect the adopters I love pitties and have brought many people arfound on them but at the same time I've had to do some hard work with rescued fighting dogs to rehab them and not all make it to rehabilitation

I love seeing the interactions between dogs and other animals. So genuine. We truly don't deserve dogs. I don't get one because I'll get too attached and someday it'll be gone.

Pit bulls are very solid, extremely strong dogs. People saw that and trained them to be mean for dog-fighting pits, teaching them to be aggressive by abusing them. Those dogs got a reputation for being vicious, so more people did the same thing, leading to a cycle where the reputation led to abuse led to more reputation, and so on. Thing is, pit bulls are among the very sweetest-natured breed out of all the dogs out there. It's the cruelty and abuse that made those dogs mean, and pretty much any pit bull that is treated with love and kindness will be the best dog you could possibly hope for.

We don’t pick our rescues, they pick us. Sadly I just buried my second rescue dog Cece. She was she sweetest dog I’ve ever owned.

I've always had a love for pit bulls they are actually quite curious and of above all, loving!

We can learn a whole lot from the dog and the guinea pigs.

Humans are just not as loving and accepting as those awful aggressive and dangerous pit bulls. Seriously if only dogs ran the world. Treats and Walkies for all! Snuggles for most! Time outs for nobody at all, ever!!

dogs and guinea pigs can get along so well, the last 3 dogs i’ve had have loved the guinea pigs. my dog will come upstairs and watch them, she’s very fascinated by them
