I liked your video and that's a fine little Flobert and very accurate. When was watching it in the beginning I thought you were trying to hit the can and missing, my mistake great shooting. I would enjoy owning one like that, mine is quite small and not as accurate at all. I shoot mine much closer, lucky guy.

That is called a parlor pistol. 25 meters is really stretching it for accuracy. Parlor pistols and parlor rifles use 22 short cartridges. They were full size pistols and rifles meant to be fired at targets inside. Hence the name “parlor.” The earliest examples were as ergonomically built as a full size target rifle or pistol. Most were integrally carved and engraved works of art. They were meant for admiration, and a symbol of status, as well as entertainment and practice. They are quite fun to shoot in a proper indoor or outdoor close range setting. We use mostly air rifles and pistols for this now. I do however wish there was still a market and availability of those beautiful works of art.

They are hard to come by they are quite old and they no longer make them. Where do you live? That ammo is just loaded with the prime and no gunpowder. Aguila sells .22 shorts that are made the same just the casing is a little longer. If you have no intention of selling your gun you could have a gunsmith lengthen your chamber and the ammo will function perfectly and probably more accurate because the is new not 100 years old. Like I said it all depends on where you live, how much ammo you enjoy shooting and if you want the Flobert pistol as a collectible. I have a box or two but I have no intention of selling them because where I live it's next to impossible to get. Good luck
