I am seriously considering purchasing the 50, because you are the first to explain the breaking controls (6pin) adjustability. Even their website only says they have an amazing control system, that's it... Thank you for doing this, like I said I think I will get a 50.

Hi mate James from Australia here.Both these reels are very well thought outThe 60 not having a free floating spool vs the 50 having it is the same as ABU 7000 vs 6500. The 7000 doesn't but the 6500 does.Pretty much no 7000 reel on the market has it ,but the big thing is to keep the 60 fast and smooth compared to other similar size reels is the addition of bearings on the worm gear and also the level wind cog.These are things that are normlly aftermarket upgrades on other brands.Very well thought out and engineered IMO.Stay safe bro and keep up the great content.

As soon as it gets warmer I'll line up the 60 and do some casting with it. Gonna be single digits next week temperature wise

I used to buy a lot of budget reels when I started fishing, but as they all failed rather rapidly, I started investing in better gear that has lasted decades. Having said that, even the quality of budget reels has improved a lot over the past ten years. Technology has allowed better, cheaper machining and molding, better bearings, and drag materials. Budget reels make sense if you don't fish very often.

My main reels are Sweden made Abu Garcias. Allot of the budget reels I would consider pretty bad quality. This particular reel I have been abusing for awhile and they are still holding up. For the price point they are still my favorite in the budget area.

I recently got a 40. Have you taken one of them apart yet? Appreciate your content thanks man!

I bought the 40 chaos and I forgot to turn off the clicker when I casted it with a heavy lead weight on, now it sounds like crap! Can I rebuild the clicker? Where do I find the kit or parts? Thanks

I lost the little pieces for the brakes in my xs60 like the little metal end caps inside the reel would they send replacements of those 10:12

I’m new to trolling reels. I’m use to an abu Garcia black max baitcaster. I bought the chaos XS 50 for catfishing. I have a question I can’t seem to figure out. I understand it’s got a 6 pin braking system, but how exactly do you adjust it? Or is it not adjustable?

I think you can only adjust two of the pins. Take your finger nail and slide the lil pin caps out until they click. The other four doesn't lock

Just off of whats inside I like the 50.

Why does it have more plastic internals than a kastking and you were bashing the kastking rover for quality

I have the chaos 50 and some things I like better than abu’s is the Chaos the side plates are painted inside and out. It has a long pinion gear and pinion gear bearing and a bearing in the side plate on the handle side. That makes a very strong pinion gear. Their is a lot of connection also between the pinion and the main gear. I tried to add a Abu c5 worm gear because it would add 2 extra bearings on the level wind but the part is to short. The Abu level wind cog will fit but you need to grind a few mm of the top. You can add a cog with a bearing if you do this. The Chaos has from factory 2 spool bearings, 1 pinion bearing and 1 shaft bearing on the handle side and 2 bearings in the cranking handle. That’s 6 bearings total for a cheap reel. If the Chaos 60 clicker side plate or clicker/ cog wheel plate, will fit the Chaos 50 then that would add a extra bearing to the spool system and if you add a bearing to the cog would give a total of 8 bearings. Things I don’t like about the Chaos is it feels cheap compared to my Abu’s. The Chaos is made out of cheap metal and the frames are thinner. The paint on the Chaos scratches easy.

@@carpandcatfishbaitstipstri7309 if you ever get a chance could you see or make a video if the chaos 60 clicker and side plate fit on the Chaos 50 frame, it would be nice to get that extra bearing incorporated into the 50. If it’s cheap enough from Picifun it might be worth ordering one. I do know the Chaos 40 double paddle knob style handle will fits the Chaos 50. The handle was $13.00 from Picifun.

I’ve heard that the clicker on the 60 is significantly louder. Do you find that to be true? Thats the only concern I have with getting the 50 over the 60. Otherwise the 50 suits my needs more

Had mine for over a season with no issues. Will they last 20 years prolly not but you can buy 3 for less then the price of one Sweden reel.

I just bought sc600. Other then the color and the handles they look the same. I haven't looked at the drive gears. But both look the same. Lews say their drive gear is brass not sure about piscifun.
