Kelenic just may be THAT DUDE, and Duvall got a MUCH deserved reward for all the hard work through his struggles at the plate this season. Great defense, timely hitting, fantastic pitching... what a ballgame.

Hopefully Riley is starting to heat up, Olsen, Albies, Murphy just can’t get it going and Ozuna has been seeing beach balls all year till the past 10 or so games, sure hope he stays consistent

The Braves aren't giving him a 8yr 200mil+ type deal as a pitcher over 30. They just won't. That's a big reason why they done the new Sale contract. He's gone, that's why we need to win it all again this season.

There is no way he’s coming back. The Braves don’t give out contracts like the one he will receive. It’s just too risky for pitchers.

Perhaps an unpopular opinion, but business wise, it may be better to let Fried go. Although in his prime; Fried is no longer a young pitcher. We could use that extra salary to sign a younger pitcher and hopefully sign him to a long-term deal until he's 30 or something. I don't want Fried to go, but he probably would have to accept a discount to stay.

Good win for the Braves and a nice effort by Max to keep his team in the game, the Bravos hung in against a dominant young pitcher, Kelenic with a super missile and lo and behold........ADAM DUVALL the games hero on a walk off hit in the bottom 10th, much needed contribution by him, nothing to say now but bring out the brooms tomorrow for the series sweep, GO BRAVES!!!!!!!!!

@@donkeykong1234mmmmeh. goes both ways. matt hits the heat, skenes throws cheddar. he hasn’t hit offspeed well this season which is a major part of his problem, and skenes knew it. skenes strikes people out, and olson is a strikeout guy

Pitching duel supreme, that wild pitch turned out to be the Braves best friend. Best part of this, Duvall finally came in clutch for the first time in awhile, the Pirates wanted to play shallow, so Duvall hit it deeper than they anticipated, and ball touched grass. That weird strike zone, and Max not being his best, and he still just about pitched shutout ball, and the bullpen pretty much did.

d'Arnaud's backhand throw to the plate can't be overlooked.

Thought pitchers had figured out Olsen looked weak on the outside of the plate. Turns out Olsen is weak all across the plate. Starting to really get concerned with his bat this year.

Olson's numbers are a little down compared to his career averages but not by all that much. He's still a way above average hitter in a year when hitting is down across the league. He's not the biggest problem on this team. If the rest of the team could hit, no one would care..

Arcia has been back two or three days now, Harris has a Grade 3 hamstring injury, could miss a month.

skenes won't be a pirate for long. some big market team will swipe him from Pburgh

for sure ill take the win, but this offense still worries me alil, ya they faced a good pitcher to, but still, every now and then they bust out a 5 6 7 run game or even more, but then they follow it up to often with a 0-1-2- run game, still cant figure out how they lost to the whitesox 1-0 and then today it took 10 innings to get 2 run, i know they put up a solid what 6 runs on friday, but idk this offense still sometimes worries me

Not much choice. Someone has to play the position. The only lefty outfielders on the roster right now are JK and Wall who have to play center and right with Acuña, Harris and Loreano out. So who else is going to play left?

111 ops+ so he's still 11% better than the average major league hitter. And yes he is hitting well above .200. .244 to be precise which is only a little under his career average.

@wingracer1614 Seems like all he does is swing and miss. I don't follow that closely, but last year must have been an anomaly if he's close to his career average. Maybe he was just more productive and clutch last year. No Acuna. No Rosario. No Harris. Olson down. Riley appears down from last year. Ozuna has to produce every time at the plate. They pulled a Braves so bad in the playoffs last year, they still haven't recovered. Irony is how much better pitching is this year.
