Trying to convince the captain you had nothing worth stealing hadn’t been a very good plan when the paladin is bedecked in glimmering enchanted plate easily seen from a league away, and while she and the rogue are accomplished duelists, the sorcerer is better suited to dealing with the large crowd flooding your ship. They’d have to choose: escape, or a fight they’d surely be injured in.
