@@dwiney4902 well, it's a curse, really, when you play safe in the beginning, you'll struggle in the end game, where you have to go deeper, but the comfort of safe will subconsciously controls you, and making your progress slower,

This was such a delightful stream, you could tell in her voice how excited she was. Any time Marine approaches Fubuki's "glasses" monologue levels of rapid speech, she is crazy excited. It's always a treat to see anyone play a game with genuine heartfelt excitement. Her reactions, especially "Peepuh!" stole the stream.

On the Peepuh, the katakana in the HUD isピーパー, ピ is pi the ー extends the vowel and the パ is pa again with the extended vowel so peepaa. I am attempting to learn Japanese and it is kicking my ass so I am trying to use it everywhere I can for practice.

She can finally be a real captain instead of a cosplaying one lol. Jokes aside. The joy in Senchou's voice can be heard when she had built the seamoth was really wholesome. As one of my favorite games, I'm glad that Marine is enjoying the game. I didn't expect her to get this much into it.

@@Justsomethingsyearsago Possibly, it’s better than it used to be now that it has something of a tutorial, but it’s still not a very newbie friendly game, would be cool if she was able to team up with at least one of the people being familiar enough to act as a sometimes guide on the more unexplained things.

This really warms my heart. She gets excited every time she gets called Captain by the system and finding Loots and booties. Truly the greatest Pirate out there.

Swimming around with a fire extinguisher constantly in their hands and an inventory full of acid mushrooms. Signs of a Subnautica noob indeed. Next stage is to start building a base and try to hook it up to an air pump.

i always love seeing people play subnautica for the first time. they always think "oh its a cute little survival game where you explore the ocean" and then encountering a reaper leviathan or something. I've personally had actual nightmares of the game so its refreshing to see other people experience the horrors of subnautica for the first time.

I played it after playing Stranded deep. I was scared af that I would be eaten and would never swim too deep. Took me a few days just to build a seamoth lol

At least she's returning to the sea after a long time.. Waiting until every Holo members start playing Subnautica. Only Coco and Marine so far

english is made up of languages from many different language families, and when english scholars first started writing books in english, they tended to copy the spelling of the words from the language it came from... but then the way those words are pronounced changed, resulting in the mess we have today

First thing to note: The subtitle speed can be changed in the menu, but the default value of 15 characters per second isn't set to change with the language. That keeps English on screen for an appropriate amount of time, but doesn't accommodate Japanese well at all. Here's hoping the info gets to Senchou before the next stream. Secondly: This playthrough is an absolute treasure. or maybe a "treasure bell"? Haw haw.

When she says "inventory ippai" i think she meant that her inventory is full. Anyways, thank you for your hard work

Marine: **swims near reaper's hunting area** Reaper Leviathan: **immediately forgets how to use echolocation and becomes deaf** I really like how everyone in the chat tries to help her when she misses, or about to miss something important. She was actually about to end the stream but ended up playing for another hour and a half.

She don't get annoyed by backseating because she don't look at chat screen all the time she only look it for information and so backseater actually useful in this stream Gate keeper just filling the screen with "Dont back seating plsss" " stop backseating" it's more annoying

Backseaters can get to the point where it's straight up harrasment, and "Gatekeeprs" ( i wouldn't really call them that) can be such a rule stickler that even when the streamer ask they still say the same thing. In all honesty though, the chat was pretty chill. People seems to enjoy Senchou's enthusiasm.

She don't get annoyed at all because she don't look at chat screen all the time, she only look when she need information that's when backseater somehow become usefull. Beside senchou ask in the beggining of the stream to bombard her with any information other than spoilers In the other hand gatekeeper fill the chat screen with useless things. It's not like people yelling at her from behind she only look the chat when she needs too, but somehow those gatekeeper are over reacting.

Ahhhhh can't wait to see them get scared shitless by the leviathans

I love her reaction when she started playing subnautica, really adorable and wholesome.

Finally Senchou is able to be a captain in the sea... and they're all dead xD Love how Senchou is excited for every new things she discovered, very cute Senchou! That a lot of *"Nani?"* in one stream lol

When she mentioned going to the Aurora first or having to get the creepvines, a part of me winced in absolute pain as i remembered the Reaper Leviathans.

I literally go a lot of times to the surface to avoid going to reaper territory by accident.

There were so many things I loved in this stream. It started with the startled "ouch" in reaction to the loose plate hitting the character in the lifepod. Her pronunciation of "bladderfish" sounding to me like "brotherfish" made me laugh every time. Her terror at the crashfish, which are really a small threat, but make like the second most menacing sound in the game (after the reaper). It feels just like playing the game over again and I love it!

This pirate slowly conquering the seas.

Imagine the moment she encounters a Reaper, or the Sandsharks.

The transition between "teki da" and "kita kita kita" was SUPER smooth. Nice work on the vid overall but especially there!

I love how everyone starts collecting acid mushrooms when they first start the game XD

Finally she plays a game about the seas and it's still not on a boat.

"why is it pronounced no, it's NAU it should be now" Ah, Marine. Can't wait for you to hear about laughter being laughter but daughter is daughter. Through is through but thorough is thorough.

I wish I could enjoy video games as enthusiastically as Marine does. I've gotten to the point that a lot of games don't intrigue me anymore, and even when I can get into them, I never enjoy them as happily as Marine does.

Yeah, it seems that in some contexts it can mean shark en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/%E9%B0%90#Japanese 1. alligator, crocodile 2. a shark or other large dangerous fish But that probably should have been crocodile. I legit forgot the word crocodile exists in English when I put that TL mfw
