Both of these planes are incredibly amazing, but as for me I will definitely have to go with Pipistrel Panthera, its design and speed are remarkable!

So you only need a three seater, at least the DA-50 can carry four and a kid at way less fuel

The Panthera looks astounding. As well as the precious stone da50 at the conclusion of the day I would cherish to fly both of them. Extraordinary planes.

I'd rather have a Piper M350 for the Diamond's price. 200+ knots and pressurized. The diesel/Jet A is incredible on the Diamond, would like to see and expect to see the Continental CD-300/Austros used on more aircraft.

The Panthera needs 21,555 feet for takeoff over a 50' barrier?! Um... I think the math needs checking, there.

Pipirtrel Panthera is my pick for beauty, performance and price.

Now we’ll see where the Panthera will fit in the marketplace. Since Cessna ceased the TTX, Cirrus essentially owns the high-performance single-engine market and with the benefit of longevity, it has supported its effort with superb sales, marketing and service. Diamond is right behind that and now Pipistrel will have to butt in somehow by throwing some Euros at a marketing program.

The panthera was designed for performance while the DA50 for luxury.. I'd go for the panthera all day any day..

Considering Pipistrel is going in the right direction as far as design, building material and avionics, they should complete the journey into the 21st century and have fadec engines.

Panthera is very good.

Might want to correct some of the stats. Based on your takeoff numbers you're saying it need 4 miles of runway. The ACTUAL number is 1,335 ft / 2,408 ft per their specs. Not hating just want to help. Good review though.

BUT ....the price of the Diamond is twice that of the Panthera. There's give and take with both

Yikes... DA is more than double in price, and owned by the Chinese... NO BUENO

For an aviation channel, you guys sure don't know a lot about aviation. Do yourself a favour and hire a pilot to proofread your scripts. It's FADEC controlled, not FedEx controlled engines... just one of a few errors in this video.
