@@Natahin A shrink is usually a doctor who specialises in psychological medical conditions such as depression. That's why when Buckland called her Miserable, she literally felt it and then felt like calling a Shrink. It's actually fairly funny.

@@MahouHomo lol no, just he makes her feel depressed which is a common symptom people speak to psychiatrists for, also known as Shrinks.

It´s funny how even with the bad special effects, season 1 still has some of the best episodes of the whole franchize. This one, the one with Piper´s hot ghost crush and the one with them going back to the 70´s were some my all time favourite episodes.

The early seasons were the best back when they actually had powers fought demons and used spells. Rather than their powers being something controlled by the elders and just throwing potions at dudes throwing fireballs

Why are they bad? I don't think so. It's always a matter of relativity. Charmed started in the late 90s. Of course they're not comparable to today's state, but how could they be?

The most cringe special effect was when Grams threw them out of the house in that 70's episode 🤣 Piper had it easy with her special effects because it wasn't visual-effect heavy like the Whitelighters' powers are. Even when she gets her secondary power later, they used legitimate explosives sometimes rather than CGI

@@royeux Fun fact about Piper´s freezing. I listened to the "The House Halliwell" podcast and Holy Marie Combs talked about how for most of the first season, stop motion hasn´t been available to them yet, so they had to stay in place when she froze people. And apparently the more popular the show got, the bigger budget cuts they had to deal with, thats why in the last 2 seasons there was close to no freezing and thats why Phoebe lost her powers, because her powers were the most expensive to film (levitation was too expenny). Thats why at the end, there was telekinesis everywhere because it was the cheapest to film xDDD

There is a jump/cut scene so I think the implication was may looked other places but this the last. Also, in residences with multiple adults it isn’t uncommon for warrants to have limits on where or what they allowed to searched. For instance if they are looking communications/contact between the suspect and victim the warrant will cover phones, digital records, emails, car, and maybe home office. In order to get a warrant the police do have to say what they are looking for and why they have responsibly cause to think think they will find it. The searches on TV where police just come and wreck a house are rare in real life unless it is a homicide or other violent crimes.

Season 1 to 3 are the best. They just capture the true essence of why i love Charmed in the first place. Sadly it all went downhill after Prue died though Paige addition was also one of my favorite thing that happened in the series. If only they could live as the Power of Four

I like how the police search prue's room for the tiara & piper uses her powers to freeze andy & Daryl to hide the tiara & prue piper & phoebe didn't even know that rex & hannah were really warlocks who just wanted the sisters powers & I'm glad that prue remembered when hannah told her that she's out to destroy prue

So funny to me they just have 2 guys check a few spots in one room and think that's enough, if they got a warrant wouldnt it be a team? Also even if she did steal it why would they think she would put it somewhere so obvious. Very unrealistic but piper owns this her powers are so dope

I think nor Andy, nor Darryl actually thought Prue was a thief. They were not happy to search the house of the girls, so they just followed the formalities and left as soon as Rex stopped giving the commands. And Rex just figured out it was pointless to continue with Piper "in the field".

Or or stay with me, that’s the only search they showed to us🤦🏽‍♂️ sometimes the audience doesn’t need to see every step, so it’s slightly implied by a change of scene or cut.

So glad I have it on DVD with all the original music except for the final season where they changed the theme to an instrumental version.

So let’s recap. The cops, who don’t know they’re being frozen, walk out of there and discuss with genuine sincere concern why these women have a propensity to gasp, lunge, wiggle their hands and gesticulate for absolutely no discernible reason. Andy later calls Prue and tells her how sorry he is, because he didn’t realise how much she had on her plate but now it all makes total sense to him why three grown ass sisters have to live together. Prue begins to correct him but they both clearly hear Phoebe gasp all the way from the kitchen during a premonition. She hangs up and decides she didn’t technically lie.

lol Andy always looked so mature, but looks like a teenager in the thumbnail. And Shannen's voice is so sultry and breathy and 🔥

They freeze AFTER Piper throws up her arms. Theres an episode where shes caught on tape doing this and thats how they get exposed as witches. Im surprised Andy & Darryl dont react to her constantly flinging her arms at them while making panicking sounds 🤣

It was Rex, Prue's boss who was a demon. He framed Prue by using his power of suggestion and semi astoprojection. He used his powers on Prue to get her to take the Tiara and security tape. And also used the powers on Andy to suggest to him where to find Tiara; foiled by Piper's power.

When Prue left the show it tanked.

It got less funny some could say the addition of Cole actually ruined the show some say it fixed it. I think it did. Prue should have stayed and Piper and Cole should have ended up together for dramatic effect and then around like season 5 can him

I sorta watched this show but didn’t. I did always appreciate the casting of Combs, Milano and Doherty. Similar looking and pretty much the same height actresses but they didn’t look too much alike. It wasn’t like you couldn’t tell them apart. That said, the cops checking just one room is pretty dumb. Also, killer theme song. I miss theme songs. It’s a forgotten and lost art.

I feel like after Prue died the show started struggling the Paige murdered the show completely for me. At that point I kept watching to see how it would all eventually end. I still watch reruns and it still holds up quite well
