Piper Meridian (4K), Full IFR Flight: Augsburg (EDMA) to Friedrichshafen (EDNY)
This IFR flight training under icing conditions took us 28 min for about 75 miles from Augsburg to Friedrichshafen at the Lake Constance. This time you can hear at least a bit of ATC communication as we had the speakers on : )

@@wolfgangkarner okay, vielen Dank.
Nice, you added the comm.

How the sound level in the M500 compares to the Diamond DA-62 ? Sounds loud on the computer.
@wolfgangkarner

Objectively, the DA62 is much louder than the Meridian. The pressurized cabin probably makes the difference. Communication between people on board without headsets is much easier compared to the DA62
Why wing de ice on without any ice? Isnt it useless?

The rule is: Activate "surface de-ice"-boots as soon as the airplane enters icing conditions. That means when the air contains droplets of supercooled liquid. These droplets freeze on contact with a potential nucleation site, which in our case is the parts of the aircraft, causing icing. Therefore you sometimes get a little icing only, moderate or heavy icing. On this flight to Friedrichshafen we were lucky and did not pick up much ice. On our way back to Augsburg a few hours later, we loaded quite a bit of ice during descend to the airport. I recorded this flight too and I will put it on my channel within the next few days ...
Have you flown an M600 yet
