My Dad (RIP) was an Army Cobra pilot and did his initial flight training at Mineral Wells. He told me some great stories about those days. Thank you for your service sir.

Brandon Darnell That goes way back. I’m a ft Rucker guy from 2010.
"Daughter's uncle from the other side of the family." He went through contortions to avoid saying brother-in-law.

I noticed that too. Wonder what the condition of that relationship is ?

Brother-in-law would be your sister's husband, anyone on your son-in-law's side is of no relation.

Indeed curious, my daughters uncle? He is divorced? Hence ex wife’s new husband’s family? Good on him for finding an intelligent adult way of expressing the relationship. Good video.

If he never married his daughter’s mother, then his daughter’s uncle was never his brother-in-law.

I’m assuming divorce but still has a relationship with his daughters uncle from the other side of the family lol
Some times the pilot is almost more interesting than the plane. Estes is an interesting guy.
Nice one, Tim shows his professionalism. Keep them coming.
Gorgeous day for that flight. Thanks for posting
Great video. I love this plane. Thanks Capt. Tim and Capt. Bobby
“Refreshed”. Good explanation of how I feel after almost all my flights.
Thanks for sharing! Another great one. Love watching you and the pilots explain their planes. I love my Mooney!
Gorgeous plane! Love the Malibu. Cpt. Estes seems like a super nice genuine guy, hopefully we'll get another video down the road when he gets the Jetprop!
Gig 'em Tim!! Awesome Malibu, and great content as always Bobby!
Thank you sir. I usually watch to hear about the planes. But this time I enjoyed hearing the man's story and seeing how he actually put his experience to work. Thank you both for your service. Keep up the good work.👍
Thank you for your service, nice Malibu.
Thanks for another great video, the Malibu was my favourite aircraft when it first came out.
Loved your talking, got refreshed..bless and these pa46 are so great planes!
Thanks for all the great content, Bobby! Another awesome video!!
I enjoyed when he turned it back to you and asked you if you miss it and about your condition. Glad to see that you took the cards you were dealt and have turned it into a great adventure. Great videos on both channels!
Another home run, Bobby ! Beautiful airplane and a cool owner. I love hearing "pilot talk" !

Piper Malibu, have always been one of my favorite airplanes.
Love the video. I Iove watching the landing gear move.
Really enjoy these videos. Great job
I trained at Meacham for my instrument rating over 50 years ago ...and quite naturally the terrain around there hasn't changed a bit. Thanks for the memories -- although the vast amount of the minutes in my hours were spent under the hood.
Bobby You keep finding great pilots!
Beautiful aircraft. I remember seeing ads for the Malibu and wishing I could flow and own one.
I love your videos mate! Keep it going!
Your doing a wonderful job my friend keep it up Thanks
Good stuff Bobbie! Please keep it up!
Gig’em Aggies Tim from College Station! Good video Bobby!
That's a beautiful plane right there
Great video, well edited. Captured the Malibu well and very true, you look after the aircraft it will look after you...
Love this, keep up the awesome work
Really enjoying your videos Doodles! Thanks!
Another great video! Hope you enjoyed your time down in New Orleans and wish we could have caught up!
My great aunt started taking me up in her hot rodded Cessna 152 when I was 10 yrs old. Now I just fly on the ground on my Harley. Great content!
Outstanding video. Shalom
Hey Bobby, love this channel. Keep them coming!
I'd sure like to have seen more of the cabin. 25 or 30 years ago I saw a Malibu at an air show or something and recall how cool the cabin was (air stair, roomy, aisle to the cockpit) and wanted one on the spot. Like a flyin' RV !! Very nice.
Hey nice video! Big shout-out from Brazil!
Awesome video ! Thanks for sharing
Great shadows on the final and the landing.
This dudes a champ.
Sure hope you two fellas became friends ! Good buds
Great vid. Nice telemetry. Good info. Great plane.
Very educational information on the piper Malibu
Captain Estes sounds just like an airline pilot is supposed to sound like.....slow southern draw with a calm, cool and collected attitude! Thanks Bobby for another fun flight!
Best video so far! Keep it up!
I love Malibus and Mirages. Good stuff.
Thanks Tim:)
Meacham field. Memories of training there in the early 90s.
Every time one of those Malibu's goes up and doesn't break apart in moderate turbulance its a victory. Nicely done
I've got 12 hours in the left as PIC in the Malibu, it's my dream airplane. Nice Video!
I like the pilot's sunglasses.
Nice plane! You opened my eyes to the Malibu. I was not familiar with this really impressive aircraft. Enjoy your videos. Keep em comin.
I'm an avid flight simmer (blood pressure issues or would get Pilot's license) and I absolutely LOVE the Malibu. Great video, beautiful plane.

Videos have been great.
Great plane. Thank you.
I love this plane. It was the first one I flew to Florida on.
Great Video 👍
loved it Bobby, thnx for sharing 🐩🐩👍🍺
My Dad was stationed at CAMP WALTERS in MINERAL WELLS in the 60's. Was a nice place and the town was great.
Nice video, enjoy it. 👍
Meacham Field God that brings memories from my student years !!!
Went for a flight in one in 1988 with Gaby Kennard in Sydney Australia , that particular aircraft had just been ferried across the Pacific.
Saw my grandmothers old house on approach to 34
Beautiful plane
Nice landing
Love the Malibu.
Love the channel.
The porno music was a nice backdrop to his story.

Tim is a cool dude.
Love this guy ! He's a Fighter pilot that really wants the jet version of this. I guess you can take the pilot out of the plane, but you can't take the fighter out of the pilot. ;)
Love that airplane. Maybe the Meridian would be interesting to see, I wonder how much faster?
Good video. Would also like to see the cabin amenities as well.
Beautiful airplane, long legs, family flyer.
So awesome that it does have a pressurized cabin. I love the idea of getting above the weather for your passengers/family/friends. Looks roomy and comfortable as well. Good enough for a retired Naval Fighter Pilot and Commercial Pilot...good enough for me! Love the over the wing footage! Wondering if the 2-bladed prop is optimal or would a 3 be better? Regardless, great Pilot, great presentation and great over-all production...AS USUAL! HAPPY/SAFE FLYING Y'ALL!👍

Drew Leevy, ditto.
Damn! When it cut and showed the speedo at 218mph I had to double take.. I'm pretty sure he hadn't even started the descent yet. I love seeing planes max out and I'm pretty sure thats the first time I've ever seen a video of someone EXCEEDING the maximum speed of an aircraft! 185kts = 212mph haha that's awesome!
Most planes feel underpowered after flying A-7's for a few years. LOL This is a great plane though. Great video.
Good stuff Bobby. Can't help comparing these types of aeroplanes with my 1966 Piper PA24 Comanche which I have owned for 43 years. Would be great if you could do an air test on one sometime.
nice job
That country is as flat as a pool table! Thanks Bobby great video!
Great video. Bobby watch your hands. You are so itching to take the controls..
Congratulations on your channel's growth Bobby. Yours is a very inspirational story. If you ever find yourself in northeast Florida, you have an open invitation to fly together. Would love to see you back in the left seat and behind the controls for the episode, though.

Love it
Good thing it climbs well cause 41 gph is brutal! Guess that’s how they keep it cool, though. On the other hand 15 gph is darn good in cruise. My only problem with the PA46 is the lack of headroom. I’m 6’2” and every time I’ve ever flown one, I’ve had to sit with my head canted inboard. Can’t lower the seat cause it’s right over the wing spar. I’ve heard some owners have custom thin seat cushions made!
I really liked this video Bobby. It is nice to see General Aviation from a Commercial Pilot's perspective. Tim seemed like a very nice guy and loved his patriotism! 20,000 + flight hours puts him in an elite category ! Love your interviews with the pilots and their responses. There are so many flying videos on KZread but I really like the variety you incorporate in your videos!
Not a hard landing for a Navy pilot right? Loving this channel and all the personalities. Thought Tim might have more to add/talk about in flight. Felt like I was on a checkride lol
I like your videos before I watch them, this is my level of confidence in you lol
Learned to fly at Meacham back in 1988
Piper made some great planes. I have a '71 Cherokee Arrow 200. It's the fastest of the Arrows because smallest airframe with biggest engine. Not saying Arrows are fast, lol but it's a nice cross country machine. Did some speed mods and slick mags after having a LASAR ignition.
Piper Malibu, #1 GA plane!
Bobbie. Can you do a review on a Skydiving Airplane (King Air, Twin Otter, Caravan, Porter, Pac 750...) and Laura can do a Tandem at the same time?
This guy literally to the T is living the life I want.
Another great one Bobby ! Really nice Malibu with a very gracious owner. As a native Texan, I really miss the state and especially the people. Thank you gentlemen, for the ride. Safe skies ! 🇺🇸🛫
The thing about multi engines is useful load, especially with the Aztec. I took a trip to the Bahamas, full fuel, 6 passengers and baggage, still would climb out at 900fpm. It is non pressurized burning 14gph each side leaned out at altitude though..................
I wish he would have shown the passenger cabin, but excellent video again.
Great choice in music Bobby! LOL at all the people who apparently don’t realize that there is a reason Tim doesn’t call him his brother in law.
Corsair j 52 engine used to put the run gear on em in the jet shop on the Midway
A true trumpeter ...
Great plane, great American!
