radar pod is really tacky hanging down like that. Is this the plane that has the inertial separator fixed to the on position all the time, terrible idea that just overheats the engine.

yep, it has inertial separator always on, that is done to reduce cost as well as for the sake of simplicity and one less thing to do for pilots from piston transitioning to this
