There is something special about Kambas and pipeline. We graduated from university, a Kamba friend moved to Pipeline, and I could not understand the motivation. He was earning good money in a government job. It is just in them living in Pipeline.

Why don't they do the roads there, who are the MPs and MCAs to petition for roads. The landlords cannot even organize dustbins and ask MCA to follow up on county garbage collection in the area.
This is the neatest ghetto I've ever seen.

It's just a shame how most governments in African let down their citizens by not providing 100% paved roads for their citizen's neighborhoods. They spend huge amounts of money on more expensive projects, yet they disregard the most basic of infrastructural development, such as regular power supply, clean drinking water, paved roads and medical welfare system. You can't help but blame it on the fact that Africa has very low standard. You travel to western and Asian countries and no matter how poor or currupt a country may be, they always remember to provide basic infrastructure because for them, it's a "BIG PRIORITY" and rightful so.
@YaraMelAround

Yes, I understand where you’re coming from. Thanks for sharing 🙏🏾
It's saddening to see how colonial policies shaped the city, allowing Africans in one area while Europeans and Asians settled in another. Understanding this past is crucial for building a more inclusive future for all Nairobi residents.
Each country even the developed countries has that side. That the countries don't want to show to the world

The person or people who insisted on you going to eastlands in order to see the real picture of Nairobi are probably the same haters who will tell you to go to kibera to see the real reflection of Nairobi! But we have nothing to hide and our government through the affordable housing program is determined to eradicate all slums and informal settlements across Kenya within the next decade! Having said that, pipeline isn’t that bad of a ghetto from what you can see! The roads are good, reliable electricity is there but only issue is cleanliness!
@YaraMelAround
2 ай бұрын
I keep saying I’m not going to Kibera. I’m going to leave that to certain creators who love to show those sides 🥲 My priority will always be to show the best sides of African cities. The Eastlands guy was not a hater. Pipeline was a very good side to show that’s why I made the video. It’s a beautiful area! 🙌🏾 thanks for watching and commenting 🤗
