Yacu, Iwacu is the slogan of Primus beer. Meaning: Yacu (our[beer]) Iwacu (home[made locally]). It's like a slingue meaning: Our beer made in Rwanda.

Thank you for sharing this. I will be visiting Rwanda next week, and had been contemplating making Gisenyi my base for two nights while exploring Volcanos National Park. It appears to be a beautiful city with lots to see. This will be my very first trip to the African continent so I'm very much looking forward to it. 🙂

Yacu : ours Iwacu : our place (country, home etc) Seeing as it's an ad for beer, the proper phrase would be "Inzoga Yacu, Iwacu." Translation: Our beer, in our home (country). Such a phrase would be in a similar vain as the American clothing brand FUBU (For us, By us) Also just a random request-I would love to find out the song playing in the background from 16:04 to 16:11.
