Most of the time a drain will clog in the trap. From looking at your video, I can see that your trap is easily accessible and removable by turning the 2 lock rings and removing the trap to clean it. Sometimes when air pressure is used to push a clog down the pipe, the increased pressure could cause an weak joint to separate in a ceiling or wall where it is not easily accessible. Then the problem becomes magnified many times. I would only use this if the trap wasn’t accessible.

I had my worries with the pipes too. I talked with a friend of mine that is a master plumber. He told me the 2 - 2 1/2 pipes can handle a lot higher psi than the pipe Blaster puts out. He also said age of pipes and fittings play a part. It's better to err on the side of caution...that's why I like that my pipes are visible.

🌴I use the regular plunger 🪠 after I screw in a wood screw fill the the tub half way for some weight and a good flush.But also duck tape over the over flow opening and no problems.Run some super hot water afterwards.👖

Ah ha! You finally came around. Great review. I love this thing! The candle ending was nice!

The funny thing is I use it all the time. I am glad i picked one up.

Thank you, Jeff. My husband was a real 'MacGyver' and could fix or build anything. He passed away last year and I'm on my own with house repairs, etc. I really appreciate your videos (even though they are mostly TV sales products). I don't like to bother my son-in-law or grandsons so you are going to be my 'go-to' guy!

I've used this a few times since the review on another tub and it worked on the first try. I'm really impressed with it. Let me know how it works for you.

Another great review Those blasters were in the end cap clearance at my local Lowes for $1.00 ! guess they didn't sell BTW the pillow company refunded my money and i have to say even though they were out of stock there customer service was excellent!

Does this send a clog down the pipes even further? And you have a problem to deal with later? Just trying to understand how this works

Have you compared this to the “Kleer Drain” device which does the same thing but uses a CO2 cartridge for air pressure?

With a 10 and 5 year old who deem it neccessary to use atleast one roll of toilet paper per visit to the restroom i could probably use something like this but I'd rather not get so close to the "splash zone" 🤢🤮💩

I still prefer pull the hair out instead of push it down the drain.

I use mine a few times a year and it has done well. I sometimes have to use it a couple of times to get it to work. Also I apply light pressure downward to make sure a seal has been made.

I know this would be a waste, no way is this going to push out a p trap.

I don't see this as a better value than a regular plunger.

Haha. It is - but it actually works. Tub drains in a few minutes instead of an hour.
