Kinetic Water Ram clears clogged drains fast - General Pipe Cleaners

pixvid.me/kineticwaterram The Kinetic Water Ram made by General Pipe Cleaners is light weight tool for quickly opening clogged sinks, toilets and tubs. The Kinetic Water Ram uses a burst of compressed air that drives a shock wave (kinetic energy) through water to break up stoppage. It handles rust, grease, sediment, and scale in lines up through 4" in diameter. It's particularly useful when the stoppage is on the far side of a drum trap or series of tight bends, since the shock wave can travel around bends without losing its force. The Ram has a self-contained pump and pressure gauge, so you can hit the stoppage with just the right amount of force. You get instant impact with no build-up of pressure in the plumbing system. The force is transmitted through water, so it's not affected by stacks or vents. For more information, contact the Drain Brains at 800-245-6200 or visit www.drainbrain.com.

This thing will work the absolute stew out of you. I’ve been working at my job for 16 months. None of these guys had a urinal auger on their truck. I went on call last night, and get a late shift call out from my usual late in the shift call-out DA. He had fudged the w/o to make it look like they hadn’t been sitting on it all day. I knew the guy that had just gone off call had this. I borrowed it while I took out on my 40 minute drive, while everyone else was getting ready to clock out, which put me there at my standard time. Right when the DA and his shift were leaving. I’m telling you I pumped on this thing and tried garbage snakes with bent cables and cutoff heads for an hour. Mainly this thing. Cause I could tell it was actually moving the clog to some degree. Just get the wooky. I try to stick with general equipment for my personal truck, but not on this old perfume sprayer contraption.

Did you use one of those sink plugs that you'd normally put into the sink/garbage disposal inlet drain (if you wanted to fill up a sink full of water and prevent it from draining)? You might have to have someone apply pressure on it to prevent it from blowing out of the drain, but did you try it that way?

So explain how a $300 tool is cheaper than the kleer drain that uses C02 which is$25 at home Depot?

The unit you saw in the store was a plastic consumer grade tool, not a professional tool. The CO2 cartridges used must be purchased for each use, adding to the cost over time, while the Water Ram uses free air. But the most important difference is safety. The release of the CO2 cannot be controlled, so you get a full blast that could, at the very least, get you wet, and at worst damage your fixture. The Water Ram uses a pump and gauge to control the amount of force you are using for each application. Please feel free to contact the Drain Brains at General at 800-25-6200 if you have any further questions.

You never explained how it's cheaper you only explained how it is supposedly better and why it is more the video say "cheaper than expensive co2 cartridges, not the case I have used the kleer drain before and never damaged anything and as far as getting a little wet it's plumbing work what do you expect. My question had nothing to do with, if it works or how good the construction is. To be clear for me $300+ is ridiculously high for what it is, especially if it has such a cheap competitor, I mean even at $100 I would buy it but kinda pushing it with 300.

@@drummlord27 i’m looking into investing on the kleer drain but i’m concern about if it will bust the pipes.. my question is where do the cartridge goes after you press it to shoot the air into the tub drain?? I know you press the handle but where does the cartridge ends up at? In the pipe or it dissolves ? How does that works . Let me know thanks

@@BXLatina35 so most drain systems have a vent to allow the gasses to vent out and allow fresh air in the pressure being applied is on the clogged side so if it doesn't pass the clogg it just vents back out once you remove the tool if it does pass the clogg it should pass through the vent line.

Snakes are great for retrieving objects from the line, or ripping out tree roots. The Kinetic Water Ram excels in lines that are hard to get a snake trough, like a drum trap in a shower. The Ram not push the stoppage forward as a solid object. It breaks up the clog so it can easily flow down the line. If you have questions, please call the Drain Brains at 800-245-6200

@@drainbrain12 You spout bullshit to us. There is most assuredly a surge of water against the stoppage, a measurable flow. Only if the integrity of the blockage is less than it's grip on the pipe wall will it disintegrate, otherwise it just moves the blockage, or fails in attempts to move it downstream.
