When I even leave just a 1/1 dude alive, I can be sure that the Pally will buff it AND clear the board with their dumb 4 mana buff spell. It felt extremely ballsy that Chump didnt kill the Giant, especially when he already was winning big on board 😂

The opponent did an order in the court. The next draw is not going to be the 4-mana spell. The turn before that was their best opportunity but didn't do it. That part was scary. Just a turn earlier

Because they played Sea giants??? Lmao. They are playing an hyper aggro board centric paladin deck they won't play a 4 mana card that clears their board too

@@gustave7619 You sound stressed. He is already winning. There's no need to risk it when there's still lethal on board for next turn whether they kill the giant or not. The question then becomes, what plays does the opponent may potentially have that can turn this situation around?

@@gustave7619 the most popular and best performing lists still definitely run Keeper's Strength. It's only a tiny downside that you clear (sometimes) your own board as well for the huge upside of having a boardclear available in aggro.

I made that mistake once. The stupid thing was I was like "Well even if they buff it like crazy, there is nothing they can do to prevent lethal the next turn unless they get a board clear from Countess. And even if they do, I have a weapon that can finish them off unles they also get a taunt, and I have killed every taunt in their deck" They of course got Gigafin.

Its crazy how one card can make a tier 4 deck a tier 3 deck. True revolution.

Honestly I think the archetype is way stronger than t3, it's just not really refined. Hunter, dk and naga dh are t1 decks that have abysmal winratio vs automatron builds

hitting maw and paw on that last game was the most comical nail in the coffin.

Ah, yes, the Ra-Den confusion... I too was very confused the first time I played one of those. As Pure Paladin, mind you, so I had very little experience with it. I also forgot it was a Deathrattle at first and thought it was a Battlecry.... Priest hasn't had any good Deathrattle cards since Xyrella rotated and I completely blanked

problem i get is if i take more than 3 minions i will 100 percent miss the automatons with creation protocol. i've never played a titan that didn't get stolen and used against me. The coolest part of this deck is how many fools try to change your automatons stats and just auto concede when they realize how big a goof they just made.

Yeah getting your titan stolen sucks but why are you playing minions other than AA that cost < 3 mana?

Chump is the man but GD every streamer complaining about people playing old decks at the beginning of an expansion. Not everyone is setting on 50k dust or has 30$ to drop every expansion.

opponent played order in the court the previous turn where if he had it on hand, he would have definitely played it. there is still a risk though that he kept it in hand which is very unlikely.

​@tbsbloodheist8986 Chump did not think of this at all though, he was more worried about a random windfury buff than losing his whole board presence.

Looking at the deck list i would guess this is a good generic deck, but has a big weakness to early aggro and you need to get on board first to make the deck work, which means you are heavily reliant on drawing the automaton's early, i guess we will see in tha games if it plays out like that, and the wins are against slower decks.

Surprisingly, assuming going first, hard mull all for the automaton, and drawing 2 over 2 turns, This is about 47~% to happen every game. That’s not astronomically bad odds for sure.

From these matches the deck seems great but I'm guessing high aggro and some control warrior and priest matchups are triggering. Also, I'll keep saying that Reno is dumb.

He likes to use the phrase: "Its terrifying for me" But he looks so calm even when he's terrified.

Wow man every single deck you play has a %100 winrate you can never lose you should attend tournaments

Only shows games where he opens automaton (36% chance if you mulligan hard for it, so 1/3 games) drops 2000 legend rank over the course of the video. Definitely a "revolutionary" deck.

the main thing with this deck is youre supposed to keep astral automaton, which chump never did

I played against 5 paladins in a row in plat, this deck isn’t viable.

golden rule. when you are offered get a free dragon every turn, you take get a free dragon every turn!

this is the worst expansion I've ever played in 8 years it's horrible let me know if you guys feel the same everybody is just playing pure Paladin that's how bad the expansion is

feel like even a single copy of Melted Maker would've been nice

Not finally. Even since they turned off the classic bots spilled into the both standard and wild.
