hello! any chinese backup camera can be connected to this or only original pioneer camera?

hello, can you tell us which model remote control Pioneer supports? Cd-r310 / Cd-r33

my dealer strongly advises against this and does not even build it in. it seems to be a B quality line from Pioneer. he says he gets a lot of complaints about the device there. Is this true?

HI. I would like the smartphone not to connect to the stereo for phone calls, while for everything else yes. Every time they call me, android auto automatically goes on the stereo. How can I do? Thank you

If you have your smartphone connected via Android Auto then calls will automatically go via the Android Auto platform.

How do I program steering wheel controls for this unit? No option in settings menu. I have an adapter that worked with the old Pioneer radio I had, but now it gives wrong inputs to my SPH-DA360DAB.

@@Yukiteruable Yes! Contacted Pioneer and they confirmed it was the order in which you connect the cables that matters. Connect the adapter harness to the radio first, then the steering wheel controls adapter to the radio, and finally the complete adapter harness to the cars harness. It works a charm.👍

@@Turbo_Boy There's no option. If you got the correct harness, it will work if you connect the SWC connector first, then the adapter harness to the radio, and then the harness to the car. In that particular order.

Our products are able to be installed into a wide variety of vehicles however sometimes require additional 3rd party components (dash facia, antenna adaptor etc) to achieve this. We always recommend visiting your nearest authorised Pioneer car audio dealer to confirm what you may require.

So do you need a usb to connect to Apple car play please advise asap

No, this is a wireless model so you can connect Apple CarPlay without using a USB connection.

This model is sourced from the European market it requires an external interface for SWC as its' extremely common for vehicles in the European market to require this. The non -DAB version (DMH-A5450BT) does support learning SWC function for those vehicles with resistive SWC systems you can physically connect to without an adaptor.

This unit can be installed into a VW Tiguan however you will need additional parts to complete the install which your local authorised Pioneer car audio dealer will be able to quote you on.

I recommend this radio strongly, all features works great.

No comment regarding the Steering wheel controls.

thank you for the fast reply, I am an auto electrician and I did hundreds of those installations all other models like 5450 have access to Steering wheel controls (learning method) but I cannot find that option on the 360 anywhere the screen doesn't turn off to access the settings and in Settings the Steering wheel controls doesn't appear at all

@@zachiotis as mentioned, the DAB models do not have learning function. They require a vehicle specific adaptor that then transmits the SWC signals specific to Pioneer's SWC requirements.

To this day there are still no firmware updates, also the display is quite disappointing, is not so bright even at maximum, and also still at 800x480 resolution. Overall works great but it is overpriced.

Regarding the screen resolution, the 800 x 480 WVGA resolution is pretty much standard in the industry until you reach more premium price points where WSVGA and HD options then become available.
