In my Pioneer it actually was the amp! As soon as I unplugged the RCA connectors for L/R output to the amp the deck operated normally again. It was flashing AMP ERROR a couple minutes after being turned on. Started doing that this morning! I attached the 6x9s previously wired to this amp directly to the wires you said to cut and no issues. The green/purple wires were already not connected to anything on my unit so your fix wouldn’t have helped me. Thanks for the video just the same. Looks like it has helped many!

Almost went and bought a new fuckin radio. This saved my ass. Found the fuse for radio was 20A. Some jackass that I got this truck off of was worthless and couldnt do anything right but that wasnt my issue. THIS solved my issue. Fucked with any fuse possible and about rewired the radio. Now I have sound back and no amp error message. For some reason it would come on for a min or two, but would not play sound, then would say amp error. Smfh, back speakers never worked in this thing but for some reason now it's an issue? WOW.

Literally made a KZread acc just to say good stuff. I drive a completely diff vehicle and it still worked.

So I have been wondering about this. My buick auto starter and pioneer mixtrax doesnt seem to be computing together all of sudden. I have to make sure I dont have my bluetooth connected for the winter starter feature to work. Now display reads "amp error". Has anyone figured out an easy solution? Unfortunately there's no on or off button.

Bruh...ur the best this just happened to me 2day and i need my music lol...i do have rear speakers tho and some subwoofers but i think my rear speakers blew out and no music would play but since i cut them off i got my music back thx man

Bro thank you wtf. I got a 93 e36. My shit was working perfectly fine then one day I just got no sound. I have all speakers including rears. I disconnected the exact wires you said and started it back up.... I got sound in my front two speakers. So I checked the rear speakers and found that one of them had been completely disconnected. So I reconnected the speaker, reconnected those wires, and now everything works! Thank you bruh I was getting mad as fuck.
