Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This is the first in a series devoted to color theory and pinstriping, designed to help develop a stronger understanding of color and how to use that knowledge in your pinstriping designs. The principles taught in this video can apply to other art forms.

@@JackFlemingArtistry Yeah, you might be right but if everyone could do what we can do, we'd be out of business, right? I still stand by my last comment, this video is pure gold and I look forward to the next. Have fun mate.

I like your idea to share info about color theory re: pinstriping. I think you’ve hit on a niche that other stripers online aren’t focusing on. Thanks.

It is a fun topic and one that I know everybody experiments with figuring out through trial and error. Color has been my favorite aspect of art, both in teaching and in making art. It has endless possibilities. Working on editing part 2.

Awesome! Look forward to seeing more. I'll have to try the key holder. One thing I'd like to hear your thoughts on is how to design the design. Maybe this will get discussed in this series. Probably not explaining this right.. Are there rules to to pin stripping? I'm not understanding where to put my lines over top the lines below it..

Some will say there are rules, others will say there are not. I like to think of them not as rules, but tools for good design. This series will focus on color (one of the elements of art). I do have plans to make other videos applying the other elements of art and principles of design to pinstriping. A lot will probably be focused on experimenting.

I find a dark background to be easier than a white one. light to dark or dark to light. Always get mixed up in my head. On a white background or lighter color, What color do you prefer to start with a dark or Lighter color or value? Great series

On a light background, I prefer to start light and move darker with each layer. I do plan to get to that with this series, plus have experiments with some more complicated problems. I really want to dive deeper than value contrast and explore some of the problems we faced in color design classes, like how to keep a design a close value to the background but have contrast through temperature or intensity.
