This video is how to diagnose a P2138 on a 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 and 2013 GMT900 Full size truck. This would include the Silverado, Serra , Suburban Tahoe and Cadillac Escalade.
I am going through the diagnostic procedures for pinpointing the problem. Using this you should be able to trace and repair the wires. I also show how to do the pin out on the wires and include all the diagrams and connector views you might need.
You can carefully use a pin and pull apart the connectors and replace the wires or re crimp them. Typically the connectors either get wet or get fretting in them. Nothing is water proof and water gets in the connectors especially the ECM J-1.
